New games and more is to come.
Guess what the prize for the best book review of The fault in Our Stars is...to become a moderator.
Word battle will begin day after tomorrow. I know our time might be different so don't start it till you see a folder for your team and the topic or genre you will have to come up with as many words or books or authors for.
I just wanted to let all of you know that Sarah and I are working on creating an interesting writing contest for all of you.
Hello. I have decided to let you all choose the books you want to read for the book review contest. You can select any books either non-fiction or fiction. After you finish with the book you have chosen you have to write a book review. Your Review must be at least 100 to 200 words long and contain descriptive details about the book, without giving away the plot entirely. Your book review will be judged by the mods. Some things to consider when writing and submitting your review:
-First, a review gives the reader a concise summary of the content. This includes a relevant description of the topic as well as its overall perspective, argument, or purpose.
-Second, and more importantly, a review offers a critical assessment of the content. This involves your reactions to the work under review: what strikes you as noteworthy, whether or not it was effective or persuasive, and how it enhanced your understanding of the issues at hand.
-Finally, in addition to analyzing the work, a review often suggests whether or not the audience would appreciate it.
Have fun and choose books that interests you. May the best book review win!
