The Sword and Laser discussion

So.. it was nice. Not as engaging as a Natural History of Dragons for me. I love Temeriare, but I think Laurence was a little flat. And way to polite. I kept hoping he'd haul off and punch someone or yell explatives at them. Overall I enjoyed it though, just not in the 'omg I can't put this book down' way that I did with the other pick.

Yeah, I really enjoyed Natural History, but I had to bail on His Magesty's Dragon, it was just really dull. I enjoyed the character relationships, but the battles just didn't do it for me.
