Personality: Skye a strong willed person, she will die for what he believes is right. She is very independent and prefers to work individually or with a small group and has trust issues. She is very stealthy, and can be silent and dangerous. Skye is a kind, and caring person. She is brave, loyal and courageous. She is independent, curious, mischievous, and just well, quite unique. History: Skye was born to a young, unmarried couple. The father loved her, and cared for her immensely. However, her mother hated her child's beautiful features and was jealous of the attention that Skye's father gave to her. She grew up as a happy child, drawing and doing art at an amazingly beautiful level, along with playing soccer at an elite level. She had many friends, but one day when Skye was 11, December 30th to be exact, her father was killed. Her father had gotten mixed up with the wrong crowd, he had done something very stupid. He had bet on a poker game, saying that if he lost, he would give the men his daughter. He had in the end, lost and the when her father didn't give her to them, they killed him infront of Skye. She managed to get away when her mother came home a few moment later and saw her dead husband on the floor. She has been on the run since, and is constantly changing her name.

History: Peter was a happy kid. He had a good childhood and grew up in a good family. Then, his dad starting cheating on his mother when he was 14. His older sister, Lacey, was 19 at the time and while their parents fought, she took care of Peter. It wasn't the best scenario, but he loved Lacey and she could always manage to put a smile on his face. That is, until she was killed. She had been driving Peter home from their aunts house on Christmas Eve when their car slid on some ice. The car spun out of control and fell off the side of the road into a ditch. Lacey had thrown herself over to shield Peter and died instantly. Peter, because of Lacey's sacrifice, survived. But after that, he was never the same. The cute kid was gone, replaced by a dark teen who wanted nothing more than to rebel against the world.

History: Elijah comes from a good home which makes it hard to believe he turned out like he did.
As a child Elijah basically had everything he wanted, later when Elijah's brother enlisted in the army things started to get to him. He no longer had siblings around to steer him in the right direction. Though he never let on anything was wrong.
He felt lost and alone in a misery no one else could see, but then he started dating Ember. For once he forgot about his own problems and just focused on her. And this worked great. Until he got the call that changed everything. His brother had been killed in action. Elijah got mixed up in drugs and the seed of violence grew in him, the world was a cruel hard place full of dirty low life's.
As he was rarely sober he started taking his drunken rage out on Ember. One night he went a little too far, and there was too much blood. When he saw she wasn't breathing he panicked and set the house on fire, making it look as though the blaze had killed her and not by his own hands.
Ever since he has been living with the guilt, he often thinks of her and wonders what her last thoughts were in life.

Elle is of mixed ethnicity, being part Chinese due to her mother and part Anglo-Saxon due to her father. It takes close examination of her face to discern the exotic tilt of her Chinese heritage in her eyes, full lips, and pleasantly rounded face. Her height, blue eyes, honey brown hair, and freckled complexion come from her father’s side. A long torso and legs paired with soft curves and seductive facial features make Ellison look like nothing short of a bombshell. Her friends in China called her Jailbait, she attracted so many creeps.
A low, sweet, husky voice and a smooth feline gait make the young woman more than a little troublesome.
Personality: Elle is organized in a way that is beyond human. She bypasses anal-retentive at 250 mph. In the same way that she needs air, she needs symmetry. Ellison hates when things are out of place and makes certain that once she’s done with things, she returns them in exactly the way she found them. When she passes by canned goods in the grocery store, she rearranges them to be even. She never leaves dirty laundry lying around and always cleans up her dishes.
The basis of Elle’s personality relies on protectiveness. Her primary interest is for those that she cares most about to be safe. She has an extraordinary sense of loyalty and responsibility and seems fulfilled in the degree that she can shield others from the dirt and dangers of the world.
Speculation and experimenting is typically of no interest to the young woman, who prefers to follow procedures rather than change. She is seldom happy in situations subject to change or situations in which established ways of doing things are not respected. Elle highly values tradition, but that is not to say that she isn’t tolerant of other people’s opinions, views, or cultures.
Wanting to be of service to others, Ellison finds great satisfaction in assisting the downtrodden and can deal with disability and neediness in others better than others. She is not very talkative and this is often misconstrued as a sign of coldness or shyness. Both are untrue. Elle is very bold, despite her disinclination toward social situations and also warm-hearted and sympathetic, giving happily of themselves to those in need. Her reserve ought to be seen as more an expression of sincerity and seriousness of purpose.
She is very diligent and dedicated to whatever she puts her mind to, willing to pit in long hours of quietly performing thankless work. Thorough and frugal, Elle understands the value of a dollar and abhors the squandering or misuse of money. As a result, she believes in saving and in the art of preparing for the worst.
Ellison has a habit of taking care of others before herself—on a bad day, she can become extremely ill as a result. On these rare days, she will do things for herself. Things like reading fanciful novels, drinking hot chocolate with homemade whipped cream, completing crossword puzzles from the local paper, and sleeping late. She holds a passionate love for classical music and Coca Cola. The flavor of lime disgusts her.
Frequently misunderstood, but always meaning well, Ellison is often overworked. Her contributions and economies are often taken for granted, but she wouldn’t take anyone’s gratitude anyway.
History: Yun Min was employed from a young age in the Triads. There was no way around it. Her entire family had been involved and everyone knows the only way to get out is death. Yun accepted that—until a certain undercover investigative journalist came snooping around: Jonathan Rhett.
At first, his questions irritated her and Yun made every effort to rid herself of him, but the young American quickly charmed his way into her bed despite his status as a foreigner. The two were secretly married and very much in love. Yun worked as an informant in hopes of escaping her illegal lifestyle, feeding information to her husband.
A year later, she became pregnant. The family began to have suspicions, though Yun insisted it was a simple one night stand with a tourist that had gotten her knocked up. When Yun gave birth to her child however, the Triads were shocked. The baby was fair-haired and blue-eyed. Yun had said ‘foreigner,’ but her family had assumed he was Korean or Japanese. Certainly not American.
Yun deemed her child to be Enlai Min. Her birth certificate stated that she was named Ellison Rhett. Jonathan and Yun lived together in a loving household for five more years under the noses of the Triads before Jonathan was called back to the States. Not eager to leave his wife, but understanding that he had civic duties, Jon reluctantly kissed Ellison goodbye and returned to Bellview. He left his Elle-Bell a delicate golden bracelet with a bell.
Though Yun was quickly rising the ranks in the Triads, reaching 426: Enforcer status, Ellison was always an outcast. Despite her reputation of being a halfer, she caught the attention of Tai Liu, the third son of the Dragon Head, or leader of the Triads. Being the clever girl she was, Elle had been tutoring Tai and the two quickly formed an attachment to one another. Though Tai was aware of his father’s misdeeds, as the youngest son, he was not exposed to it.
That changed when his father shot and killed a prostitute rumored to be an informant with the entire family present. Panicking, Tai insisted to Elle that it was no longer safe in Hong Kong among the Triads and that they could sneak away and start careers overseas in America. Quickly, the two made plans to do so, emptying out bank accounts at the young age of sixteen. Tai was a piano prodigy and he was certain he could live off of his skill and Elle planned to become a bodyguard or some type of agent to the law—she had been an exceptional member of the Triads despite her ethnic roots and it left her well-trained.
Complications arose when Tai’s oldest brother Fang discovered the couple’s plans. Enraged, he intercepted the two on the way to the airport and led them into an abandoned alley to confront them. Fang revealed that he hadn’t told his father a thing, but that he would have to kill them. He allowed the couple two minutes to say their goodbyes, during which time Tai confessed to Elle that he loved her and was sorry they would die; he had only wanted a better life for them. Elle, though knowing that she wasn’t in love with Tai, told him what he deserved to hear: that she loved him. There was no reason for him to die with more pain than was necessary. Elle knew, after all, that Tai would never have made it in the Triads; he was only an artist, but she had been determined to protect him.
With only slight hesitation, Fang shot his younger brother executioner style, turning quickly to deal with Ellison in a similar fashion. He never got the chance however. Instead, his brain matter covered the dark wall of the alley only a second after his finger touched the trigger. Yun, upon learning of her daughter’s plans, had followed the couple as well and in an attempt to save her daughter’s life, shot her employer’s son. Determined to protect Elle, Yun gave her the number of Jonathan Rhett and told her to continue as planned to the United States.
Ellison did as she was told and tracked down her father without any problems. He was pleased to see her, despite the unfortunate circumstances, and Elle decided to live with her father. A year has passed, and though the living arrangement was awkward at first, the two developed a warm relationship.

● Personality ● The best, and most frequent word used to describe Keenan is passionate. He has never made a decision and gone at it with anything less than his full capabilities. It is an aspect of his personality that is both admirable and often frustrating.
Though he tries his best to act like the cool, mature adult he's expected to be, he often slips into the immature, downright goofy kid he is at heart. It's probably the reason children like him so much, and he them.
Despite the fact that he is inherently playful and clown-ish, he has his sombre moments. The death of his wife, and the horrors he's witness through the lens of his camera, have left him scarred. Depression, though strange for his character, is something he's grown more than familiar with.
Keenan is often reserved in his opinions, preferring to capture the truth with his camera. He often chain-smokes, usually to take the bite out of the depression and stress he deals with on a day-to-day basis.
● History ● Much of MacGuire's younger years were spent in turmoil, in large part thanks to his often absent father. Even after Sean MacGuire's death in 1984, the memory of the man continued to haunt the family.
Little of interest occurred during his childhood. He got into schoolyard brawls as boys often do, and fully rebelled against his mother's firm decision to send him to Catholic school. His grades, while decent, never really peaked beyond average.
MacGuire slugged his way through college, graduating with a BA in journalism. He lead a mildly successful career as a freelancer, publishing his photographs in various magazines.
In early 2005, MacGuire travelled to Chad. The war in Darfur had sparked his interest, both as a photojournalist and as a man. While he wasn't allowed in the region itself, he was permitted to the refugee camps that that spotted the Chad - Sudan border. It was in one of these camps that he met Subira Matiba, a Kenyan nurse volunteering her services to the thousands of refugees that needed medical aid.
It wasn't love at first sight. Far from it, in fact. She found MacGuire to be a nuisance, distressing her patients and always, always getting in her way. She tried more than once to have him tossed from the camp, but he always managed to slip from the snare she'd lay out for him.
It wasn't his passion for the situation that won her over, nor the respect he presented to each and every person that landed in the scope of his camera, though both contributed to the patience she developed for his meddling. It was the sight of him, covered in dust and dirt, wrestling with the boys that he'd slowly won over, his camera abandoned in favour of good-natured defeat.
MacGuire spent seven months in the camp and the region around it, far longer than he had expected and deemed necessary. He wanted to stay longer. The experiences, the stories he became privy to and the history before him, was something he was loath to let go. But his budget, stretched thin and worn, wouldn't support him any longer. Before his departure, he wheedled out a day in N'Djamena with the long-suffering Matiba, and the promise that she'd keep in regular contact.
In 2007, after half a dozen visits, four boxes of letters, and innumerable calls (leading to a rather long, and pricey phone bill), MacGuire proposed. It wasn't a popular move in the eyes of either family, but they were happy together.
After much debate, it was eventually decided that she would maintain an apartment Nairobi, which would be their primary place of residence. In return, she would spend the summer months in the small home he held in Ireland.
In 2010, MacGuire left for Afghanistan. It wasn't a decision that sat well with Subira, and it was a topic that they had argued about for a good three months. Nonetheless, he left, and was neck deep in sand when he got the call. His wife, Subira, had been in a fatal car crash.
In the oncoming months, MacGuire spent his time in a near constant drunken stupor, fortifying himself in the small Nairobi apartment that still held the faintest traces of her touch.
It wasn't until a disastrous assignment in South Africa which very nearly ended in his death, a three month stint in a hospital and a rather stern intervention from his mother that he decided enough was enough. Subira would have kicked his arse out the door if she'd seen how he'd been acting. It was with this thought that he began the process of cleaning himself up, swearing of liquor and selling the apartment in Nairobi.
After nearly a year off, MacGuire finally returned to photojournalism, taking a rather easy job in the States to pay for the bills that have piled up.

○ Eileen MacGuire (née McCormick) (1955 - 20--) ○ Whereas her children are fiery, Eileen encompasses the spirit of a rock. Stern and unmoving, she has long learnt the lessons life has taught her. She expects only the best of judgement from her children, and is far from afraid to give them the verbal lashings they need to hear. Despite this, her bond with her children is strong and though he would be loath to admit it, Eileen has been Keenan's stable point throughout much of his life.
○ Sean MacGuire (1953 - 1984) ○ An active member of the Provisional Irish Republican Army until his death in 1984, Keenan's relationship with his father was all but nonexistent. His parent's marriage, while sturdy in the beginning, began to crumble as Sean became increasingly paranoid and violent. He was found in his truck, a tube leading from the exhaust to the cab. His death was labelled as a suicide.
○ Subira MacGuire (née Matiba) (1974 - 2010) ○ The death of his wife was the single most devastating moment in the whole of Keenan's life. A native of Kenya, Subira worked as a nurse, and assisting in the refugee camps of Chad in 2005. She was the calming waters to his passionate fire, and though they're marriage was short, they were as close as a couple could possibly be.
○ Treasa Brennan (née MacGuire) (1982 - 20--) ○ While their relationship has become strained over the years, Keenan has always remained close to his only sister. As fiercely passionate as her brother, Treasa has never feared the opinions of others. She's as as likely to spit in your eye as she is to shake your hand. It was a surprise to just about everyone when she settled down for a quiet marriage with a retired military officer.

Personality: Lennon is quite outgoing and is literally willing to try anything really at least once. She often forgets about other people's feelings and can sometimes be considered cold. When it comes to her past she won't talk about it, she would much rather keep it to herself.
History: Lennon used to be totally different, she was quiet and reserved, but that all changed the summer that she was 15.
