The Lost discussion

Brandon sat near the fountain. He quietly took in the scene around him: people moving about with their lives, cars rolling down the road, sunny sky, beautiful day. He sighed and took out his sketchpad and started drawing the scene in front of him.

Kalinda walked into the square, perching on the edge of the fountain. She just wanted to kill her victim and get out of there.

Brandon plugged in his ear buds and cranked up his music high, letting the other noises fade away as he worked on his sketch.

Kalinda say down beside a boy sketching. Her victim's name was Brendan, but she still needed to find him.

Brandon noticed a girl sitting next to him. he unplugged his earphones. "hi!" he said smiling.

She looked over and smiled as well. It was always good to meet someone nice. "Hi to you, too!"

"name's Brandon." he said sticking out his hand.

Her smile faltered for a moment before she regained her composure and she took his hand. "Kalinda. But you can call me Kallie, Linda or Rhi. Even Anne, sometimes. That probably doesn't make sense, right?" She laughed. "Kalinda Rhiannon Mayer."

"Kalinda. well that's a name your don't get to hear everyday." he smiled to her. "mind if I call you Allie?"

"Yeah, that's cool. And my parents um, liked to be unique." She responded lightly.

"I like unique." He smiled, looking at her. After a while, he asked. "hey, do you mind if I draw you?"

"Um...Okay? I can't promise that I'll be a very good subject though." She said, smiling a little. "I like to fidget."

He laughed. "that's fine. Everything around here is always moving and i'm pretty good at drawing people. and besides, you're beautiful so i hardly doubt the picture will look ugly."

She smiled, "Thank you, then. And, um, go ahead. Can we keep talking though? Otherwise I'll feel awkward."

"sure. I'd love to talk." He flipped to a new page in his sketchbook and turned towards her. "so Allie, have you been living here for a while?"

"Just a few days." She said vaguely, she hadn't entirely decided on her story yet.

Lucy walks around the town square, holding her arms behind her back. she was often ignored for being a lost creation, so she didnt care about the silence.

Dante sat on a bench next to the fountain and stared at the water in the moonlight. Virgil would've made some sorta comment on it he thought to himself.

She slowly stops and leans against a near by wall, staring at the beautiful blue, cloudless sky. She often came here, it was really.. relaxing.

Dante saw a blonde girl out of the corner of his eye and stared at the fountain, letting out a small cough.

Lucy blinks at the cough and looks over at him. she didnt notice him till now, mainly because she rarely noticed anyone. the wind blew her soft blonde hair as her eyes glow a bright blue, like the sky. She slowly walks over to him.

He glances over and blinks. 'Looks like I have company' He thought, scratching the back of his head.

She stops, asking quietly,"you are lost too, yes?" She wasnt really in a shy mood today, more.. talkative over everything since she rarely ever got to talk.

"Yeah." He says standing up and walking over.

She nods, relaxing,"i dont see many around here.. im Lucy.."

"Dante." He gave a smirk and looked into her eyes.

She nods, faintly smiling,"its a pleasure to meet you Dante.." she leans back against the wall, asking,"so how'd you end up like this? if you dont mind me asking.."

((btw she has trust issues so it will take awhile to get with her lol))

"My brother stabbed me with broken bottle in the heart. You?" He asked, putting his hands in his pockets.

She blinks before whispering,"my father and step brother beat me to death.."

"Damn, and I thought that hurt." He put a hand on her shoulder and frowned.

She nods,"its.. alright though.."

"Not really, but life is rough. And its a good thing I like it rough." He smirked, putting his hands back in his pockets.

She blinks, lightly laughing as she nods,"same"

"Oh, really?" He smirked.

She nods, smirking,"the rougher, the stronger you get"

"Huh, I like you, Lucy. You're funny." He smiled and sighed. "Well, I'm going to get drunk now. So, see ya around?"

She blinks, smiling lightly as she nods,"of course, just say my name and im sure ill hear you Dante"

He raised an eyebrow. "Unless you wanna come with me...?"

She blinks before faintly smiling, nodding,"sure, if you wont mind.."

Brandon's smile grew wider. "me too. I moved here with my family only a week ago."

She looked closer at him, wondering if there happened to be two with the name Brandon. Was he lost like she was? "I've found myself having a hard time getting around town. Almost lost, it seems." She said, gauging his reaction.

"I spent all of last week getting to know people and this town. I'd love to take you around if you like?" he suggested.

Dante grinned for a moment. "You know what? I'm not going out. I'm just going to find a victim. Nice meeting you." He walked away and grinned devilishly. Time to have some fun.

Kallie sighed inwardly, it seemed she was stuck with her victim here. She forced a smile, for the second time. "I would love that."

Lucy raises an eyebrow before shaking her head, sighing,"boys.. ill never understand them.." she didnt mind though, she was actually waiting for someone.
