Skye drove up to her house and got out of her car. She smiled at Katie, "Welcome to my cozy home." She tells her, her dogs could be heard barking in the background.
Katie pulled in, staring at the house that stood before her. It was a cute home, she had to admit. Much more than she had. That was the thing with her. She could never buy or rent a place because then shed start to feel attached. So, she slept in her car on the occasional nights she did sleep. Being dead meant that sleep wasn't necessary. Yet, it made her feel more normal, more human in a sense. She got out of her car and stared at the place, hearing the dogs in the background. "Its nice."
"Thanks." Skye said with a small smile, noticing the longing loon on Katie's face. "You got a place to stay? If you don't, I have a spare room you can use, or you could bunk with me if you want." Skye tells her, her voice holding true genuine sincerity. She opened up the door, the two dogs wagging their tails and barking happily.
Katie was taken aback by the girls offer. "I couldn't. Its nice and all but, I don't plan on staying for too long to be honest," she said sadly. It was true. Part of her job meant never staying in a place too long, having a chance to settle down. She looked down at the two dogs. She had always loved dogs.
"You sure? You could stay here till you leave. It's just me at home." Skye says, shocked at herself for revealing to Katie that she was the only one at home. "These two are Kuro and Kilani, Kuro is the brown and black shepherd, Kilani is the white one." She tells Katie, covering the shock and annoyance at herself.
Katie crouched down onto one knee and reached a hand out to the dogs. "Why hello there," she said softly to them. She glanced up at Syke. "Are you sure?"
"I'm positive. I have a few extra rooms and your free to stay in one for as long as you want." Skye says, giving her a closed eye smile.
Katie smiled at her. "Thank you. I can pay you for this. I have some money." She had a lot of money to be honest, but admitting that would raise suspiscion. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a crumpled ten dollar bill. She reached it out toward Skye. "Take it, please."
"It's fine, I have a lot of money. It was inherited. You don't need to pay me, is rather house a friend for free that. Make them pay for a room that I don't even use." Skye smiles softly, walking into the house, the inside nice and cozy, although it showed signs of class and elegance.
Katie looked around, bewildered. "This place is beautiful," she whispered to herself. She stared at the furnishings and wallpapers. It had that classy feel to it.
"Yeah," Skye says with a sigh, "It's not much fun being alone here. Let's head up to my room, shall we?" She asks Katie, her voice slightly hesitant and sad, but it was covered up by a slightly fake joyful sounding voice.
Katie heard the falsetto in her voice, but ignored it. She followed her upstairs to see Skye's room. A persons room said a lot about a person. Had all their secrets and likes, fears and greatest wishes.
Skye walked into her room, her soccer items scattered about the room, some clothes strewn about the floor. "Sorry for the mess, I would've picked up the room if I knew I was going to have a new housemate over." She tells Katie, glancing at her room. She had her spare drawer stuffed to the brim with her soccer clothes and equipment as well as some weapons and private personal things.
Katie looked at the soccer things for a bit. She hadn't taken her for an athlete. Yet, the thing that surprised her the most were the weapons. "Preparing for an apocalypse?"
"I have some... bad people after me." Skye says with a sigh. "I have to be careful." Skye whispers, looking out the window, "You could say that a lot of people want me dead or want me in their possession."
Katie felt sick upon hearing this. She was one of those people. She was using this girl just so, in the end, she could kill her. "Oh," was all she could manage to say in reply.
"How about Trig?" She replies, pulling out her homework from her backpack.((Timeskip till after? Also, can Skye become a Lost after Katie kills her?))
((I wasn't going to have Katie kill her....unless you want her to.))
((and sure to the skip!))
Katie felt dreary after finishing the work they had. She didn't usually get tired, but even being dead couldn't hide her from the exhaustion that school and homework brought on a person.

((I'm fine with whatever, but I think that Skye would make a good Lost.))Skye yawned, rubbing her eyes slightly, her stomach growling. "Do you want something to eat? We didn't stop for dinner, I can reheat some leftovers or cook some pasta real quick if you want." She says to Katie, muffling a yawn as she stood up and stretched.
((ok))
Katie wasn't hungry. She never was. "Nah, go ahead and eat without me. Im just gonna pass out for tonight. But thank you."

"No problem, the spare room is one down to the left. The bathroom is the first on the right, or across from you room." Skye tells Katie, heading down to the kitchen.
Katie went into the spare room and sat down on the bed. She looked down at her hands, shaking. She couldn't go through with this.
Skye took out a piece of cold pizza wrapped in tinfoil from the fridge, she unwrapped it and the it, yawning every once in a while as she ate. She finished up quickly and headed back up the stairs, "G'night Katie." Skye says with a yawn, not sure if the other girl was asleep yet.((I gtg, g'night.))
(sorry. haven't really been on)
Katie was awake, but chose not to reply, hoping the other girl would just go to sleep. She had managed to sneak her katanas in and wanted nothing more than to feel the swords in her hands after the day shed had.

Katie stood at the stove downstairs, scrambled eggs in the frying pan that sat on the burner. A cup of coffee sat on the counter, hot steam rising out of it.

((It's okay ^^))Skye sighed and went to sleep, not sleeping very well.

Skye woke up with a start, a silent scream caught in her throat. She calmed down slightly, remembering that it was just a dream. She then put on some new clothes, navy blue high waisted jeans with a light turquoise long sleeve shirt. She put on her black Chuck Taylor's and headed down the stairs, noticing Katie had already started cooking breakfast. "Morning," She says to Katie.
Katie, having went to her car for clothes, was wearing a shot floral dress that was about an inch or two above her knees. it was white with pink cherry blossoms, and a pink sash across the middle of it. "Morning," Katie greeted as she handed out to Skye the cup of coffee
Skye crinkled her nose slightly, putting the coffee down. "I'm sadly informing you that I don't drink coffee." She tells Katie with a small smile, "Bad memories with coffee." She says to Katie with a shrug.
"Oops. Sorry," Katie said. She hadn't known that. She grabbed the mug, added a bunch more cream and a heap of sugar, stirred it with a spoon, and took a sip. She hated mornings and coffee is what got her by, especially really sugary coffee. "Eggs are for you."
"It's fine, you didn't know." Skye replied with a small smile. "Thanks for the eggs." She says to Katie, taking a bite of her food before she heard the dogs barking. She sighed, filling their bowls with food and water. "Breakfast guys!" She shouts to the dogs, who came down but looked slightly on edge.((Can there be a rogue Lost who tried to kill them to make drama?))
((sure. why not?))
Katie was smiling after finishing her coffee, practically glowing with energy. Until the dogs came down. Something was up. She had stowed her katanas in a gym bag that laid under the table next to her satchel bag. She crouched down next to the dogs, sensing that something was off. She pulled the bag closer to her and unzipped it quietly, not enough to draw Skye's attention

Skye's eyes snapped open, suddenly alert. "Something's not right, Kuro, Kilani, attack call three!" She says to them, barking out a command. The dogs got ready, slipping bullet proof vests over their bodies. "Katie, come upstairs with me, quick!" She says to Katie, urgency in her voice, "Bring your katana's with you too." She mutters, running up the stairs, pulling out her specialized bow and arrow, much like Hawkeye's from the avengers.
"Shit," Katie muttered and grabbed her swords. When Skye got to her weaponry, however, Katie stopped. "Im sorry, Skye," she said. "Don't hate me for this." She then closed the door and pushed something heavy against it to keep her in there. Katie knew what was happening and didn't need Skye getting hurt. She twirled her katanas. "I know youre here and what you are," she said aloud.
"Katie! Jesus woman!" Skye mutters, trying to find another way out of the room.~
The man steps out from the hallway, a large sword in his hand. "I'm here to kill the girl, move it b*tch." He says, his voice hard and cold, and it edged on insane.
Katie wasn't phased. She gave the man a pathetic look. "You don't stand a chance, asshole. Trust me. Id leave before you embaress yourself."
The man glared at her, pointing the sword at Katie. "Bring it on baby." He says, a sadistic smile on his face.~~
"Katie!" Skyelar growls at Katie, hearing the conversation.
Katie said "Skye, trust me, dammit!" She then raised her own weapons, feet slightly spread. Her eyes watched the man, his posture, his feet, anything she could to figure out his move
The man leaned slightly forward, balancing on the tips if his feet, ready to lunge for Katie. He growled at her, his sword starting to move forwards.
Katie brought one of hers up to meet his blade, the sound of metal against metal clanging in the air. She used her other sword to try and strike at his side
The man dodged the second blade barely, but it nicked his skin. "You're gonna pay for that." He says threateningly, binging his sword up to strike it down on her.
Katie spun out of her block and, just as he was bringing his sword down upon her, she trust both of hers up, forming an "x" and stopping the blade as it was centimeters away from her. She held it there, unable to push it off
The man kept on pushing when suddenly an arrow pierced his shoulder, knocking him backwards. He let loose a strong of colorful curse words as Skye let arrows rain down on him from the now open vent.
Katie dove to the side, rolling up into a crouch. "Dammit Skye," she muttered. She ran through the rain of arrows, using her telekinesis to ensure she didn't get hit. She put a sword to the mans throat. "I know I cant kill you."
Skye closed the vent, going back into her room. ~~
The man snarled, "You win this time, but I will get her. She's mine, her father bet on her and now she's mine." He snarls, an insane and sadistic look on his face as he ran out of the house.
~~
Skye broke down when she heard those words, closing herself into one of her secret doors, tears rolling down her face.
Katie whirled, using her Gift to shove the object in front of Skye's door down the hallway as she burst in the door. "Skye, where are you?"
