After several minutes of searching for the room, Miranda finally found it. Her key had almost broke trying to find the correct door. The inside of the room was humongous, but she had little time to think about it. “If I’m going to prove that Sierra wrong I’ll have to take down something stronger than a Vetis,” She thought to herself. She stripped off her casual clothing and put on her hunting clothing, which she’d really only used once, and grabbed her Seraph blade.
And, as quickly as she had come in, she left. She dashed out through the entrance to the Institute, and into the cold night of New York.
Miranda headed back up to her room for a much needed night of sleep. She crawled to bed in full battle dress, and passed out immediately. The next morning she changed out of the gear and into her casual wear- a loose tee shirt and sweat pants. She brushed her hair and put it into a loose ponytail. She tried unpacking, but was too tired to put much effort into it, and after awhile, gave up and left her room.
Miranda entered the room with Sierra and began looking through her luggage to find her wallet. "I know it's in here so where," She muttered, rummaging through the smallest duffel she had brought. Miranda was about to give up hope when her fingers grasped the smooth leather of her old wallet. "Found it!" She beamed. Opening it up, she pulled out three crisp $20 bills. "That should be enough, right?" She asked Sierra.((I hope you don't mind that i put your character in this room. If you do, I am really sorry!))
((No. It's fine. I don't mind :D))"I can contribute some if you like." Sierra said. "I have a lot of money. My parents are stinking rich, even if they're not shadowhunters."
((Okay, thanks! :D))Miranda smiled reassuringly, "It's alright, my parents are well-off, too. Besides, it's only polite that I pay for lunch."
"Why?" Sierra asked. "Since you said we're friends and now I'm going to be your parbatai, there's no need to be polite." she smiled.
"How about I pay for the food and you pay for the drinks?" Miranda asked, happy that Sierra was being so kind. "That way we both feel like we payed for each other."
"Sounds good." Sierra said. "That's a good idea." she looked down at her clothes.m"I'd better change out of this gear first." she said.
((sorry, homework and band stuff.))
((It's okay, We can continue the RP on the institute thread. There are a lot of characters still thrre.))
((It's ok Amy can meet them downstairs b4 they leave or something.))Miranda took off her training gear, then, after much more rummaging through her luggage, put on high-low black dress she had bought last winter. After putting her hair up in a high ponytail and glossing her lips, she headed downstairs to meet up with Sierra.
((ok, I posted with Jace though. :) We're all on!))
