Irene (wingdesilverii) | 2500 comments Needing some motivation to write or just want to have some fun? Find a partner (or two or three) and have a word sprint! What are word sprints you ask? Well, you agree on a starting time and how long you're going to write for (usually something around eight minuets) and see who can get the most words completed on their novel. Sure, the words aren't going to be the greatest, but they are going to help you get that so very important rough draft down (please pay attention that I said ROUGH draft).

So, that said, here you can find someone to sprint with and if there is enough interest I will see about holding a Word Sprint events on a regular basis (where I will set a time and if you want to join show up and be ready to write!).

Irene (wingdesilverii) | 2500 comments Haha! Me too, I have only ever done a few online and the ones in-person are crazy :)

message 4: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (jessicalcozzi) I haven't ever done any in person, but on the marathon day for this year's NaNoWriMo I participated in a couple of them through their Twitter account and even those were getting so crazy that I was starting to get stressed out.

Aw, I found them just super tense in that moment but felt really good after because of the productivity (even if half of it was gibberish).
