Shelby, what exactly are you looking for in a young-adult romance?

Well I am a hopeless romantic and I love cheesy teen novels about romance and love. But, my biggest pet peeve is when these cheesy novels have absolutely no depth to them. For example, I looooooooooved John Green's The Fault in Our Stars because (1) it was a teen romance and (2) because it went beyond the boy meets girl and they like each other. I hated, on the other hand, John Green's Paper Towns because it failed to go beyond the "I like you" kind of thing. I hope this all makes sense... as you can tell, I read a lot of John Green.
I just want something that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, that isn't predictable, and that makes me think a little.
Ok that's freaky because I was literally just reading the reviews for that book and falling in love with it...
I LOVE THIS WEBSITE. Thank you so much! I'm hopping on over to the bookstore tomorrow and never letting that book go. woohoo!!!
Shelby, you might also like The Joys of Love, Madeleine L'Engle's posthumously published novel. It deepens considerations of the couples' love in the story with their complicated passion, also, for the theater. I liked the book a lot.
Hey guys! The kindle version of my YA Contemporary book
is on sale this week for $0.99 Check it out here: http://amzn.to/1ixiwIqIt sounds exactly like what you're looking for! BTW I LOVED The Fault in Our Stars! Destiny is that kind of thing. Awesome romance, but deep issues coming between them.
