Its a large den, where the everyone can sit and talk

Claire sat on a couch, holding her daughter Gwen in her arms. The young girl was still nervous from seeing a lot of people, as the child had never been around people much. "Its okay Gwen, Mommy's here" Claire murmured to her little girl, still mentally cursing herself for the little girls problems.

Jace was sitting on the floor somewhat near the couch with a notebook in front of him. He was randomly doodling things in it out of boredom, he loved drawing

Gwen looked at Jace, and watched him draw her eyes interested. She tapped her mother on the shoulder and pointed at Jace, wanting to look at the doodles better.

"We can't bother the nice boy right now Qwen" Claire told her child calmly.

Jace glanced up at Claire when he heard her speak. He gave a small shrug "I dont mind being bother" he said, he typically enjoy some socializing

Claire nodded, and carried Gwen over to Jace. "Thank you" She said, sitting down so Gwen could look at the doodles.

Gwen excitedly hit Claire's arm, pointing at the doodles.

He gave her a small smile before looking back down at his notebook. He brushed his black hair out of his blue eyes and started doodling again

Gwen watched him excited.

"She loves watching people draw" Claire said.

Callie walked into the room with Jude next to her, She sat in a Chairand was surprised a little by Jude hugging her, "It's okay baby I'm here" She said knowing he was scared that this wouldn't last She hugged him back and helped him onto her lap, "How about a story?" She asked and smiled when Jude nodded, She leaned back a bit letting Jude get comfortable.

Jace nodded slightly "I can tell" he replied glancing at Gwen, smiling softly at her excitement

Gwen watched him draw for another moment, before hitting him for no reason.

"Gwynth we do not hit people" Claire chastised the 2 year old. She knew that the child didn't really know any better, but hoped one day she would learn. "I'm sorry, she doesn't really know much better" Claire apologized.

Jude looked up and saw Gwen hit the boy, He looked at Callie then back at Gwen and Claire,

He looked up from drawing at Gwen when she hit him, not seeming overly upset about it. He flicked her forehead gently as a form of payback for it before looking at Claire "Its fine. I used to be the same way when I was her age"

Gwen began crying when Jace touched her, not liking people besides her mother touching her.

"Your fine Gwen" Claire murmured rocking her. "She's not actually hurt, Gwen just doesn't like others touching her." Claire told the boy, as she didn't want him to feel bad about the toddler crying. It was a struggle having an autistic child, but Claire still loved little Gwen, mood swings and all.

Jude climbed down from Callie's lap and made his way over to Claire, Gwen and Jace.

Jace nodded "Ah, I see" he mused "Well, sorry for making her cry" he apologized, feeling somewhat bad that Claire was going to have to deal with it. He looked over at Jude when he came over

"You don't have to be, I'm used to this" Claire assured him, as she rocked Gwen calmly. "Hello there" She said, looking down at Jude.

Jude waved Hi to them

Callie watched, She didn't know what they would do about her effectively Mute son.

Claire smiled, not really caring that Jude was mute as the doctors were sure that Gwen would be nonverbal. "Would you like to sit with us?" Claire asked the boy.

Gwen slowly stopped crying, and pushed away from her mother. After not being put down, Gwen hit Claire causing her mother to sigh. "Don't go far Gwynth"

Jude looked at Gwen and smiled and offered her a toy car to play with.

Gwen looked up at Jude, her eyes not really focusing on him. She took the car a little roughly, not understanding that he was trying to be nice.

"Gwen be nice" Claire said, watching her daughter.

Jude smiled he wasn't offended and sat down rolling another car around.

Callie watched and smiled.

Claire motioned for Callie to come sit with them.

Gwen fiddled with the car in her hands.

Callie stood and tucked her book into the waist of her jeans and walked over.

Jude played on the ground.

"I'm Claire" The elder girl said, smiling at Callie. "The little girl on the ground is my daughter, Gwen"

"Callie, that's my son Jude" Callie said sitting next to Claire.

Jude continued to play with the car,

Gwen grew bored of playing with the car and threw it at the wall.

Claire sighed and kneeled by Gwen, tapping her hand. "We don't throw toys Gwynth" Claire said firmly, picking up the toddler and going back to sit.

Jude walked up to Callie and pulled the book from behind her and held it up to her wanting to read it with her.

Callie smiled and took the book from him.

Gwen thrashed in Claire's arms, wanting to get down.

Claire sighed, getting frustrated with her daughter. "No, you haven't been a good girl"

Callie started reading her book to Jude, he was listening and silently reading along with her.

Gwen screamed loudly, having one of her melt downs.

"I'm sorry" Claire said to the others in the room, for the loudness of Gwen.

Callie looked up. "It's okay" She said with a kind smile and a nod.

Jude flipped the page in the book that they were reading.

Gwen continued to kick and scream.

Claire placed Gwen on the ground, knowing it was best as she had gotten many bruises from holding her daughter during a melt down. She sat down again, and looked at Jace "What are you drawing?" Claire questioned.

Jude kept reading,

Callie let Jude read the book, He was engulfed in it, She smiled a little, Her son loved reading.

Jace looked at Claire when she spoke to him, he gave a small shrug "I'm not really sure" he answered looking at his notebook

Claire looked at Callie "Its worth a try, normally she tires herself out during a meltdown and goes to sleep"

Callie handed Claire her Ipod and the headphones.

Claire kneeled down, and carefully placed the headphone's in Gwen's ears.

Gwen calmed down, hearing the music as it was a distraction. After one song she fell asleep.

Callie smiled.

Jude finished his book and sat next to Jace and pointed at a picture.

Seeing that Gwen was asleep, Claire picked her up and sighed glad her daughter was sleeping. "I am sorry for her loudness, she doesn't understand how to cope with her feelings" Claire said.

"It's okay" Callie said with a nod.

Claire looked at her daughter and sighed "She is a handful"

"It's Jace" he replied to Claire then looked at Jude when he sat beside him

Jude smiled and pointed at the picture. He liked it.

He smiled at Jude "You wanna try drawing?" He offered

Jude looked surprised at the offer.

Jace flipped to a new page in his notebook then held out his pencil to Jude, still giving him the offer to draw

Claire looked at Gwen, thinking about how much the child looked like her father. She hated the man that got her pregnant, and had since he tried to force a miscarriage.
