Abigail Sharpe (abigailsharpe) | 2010 comments I've seen one too many misinformed, opinionated, patronizing posts about how women who read romance must be filling a void in their daily lives or that they long for a time where men HAD to take care of us since we weren't allowed to do it for ourselves.

I'm planning on writing an article about how that is not true, but I'd like to talk to the SIGNIFICANT OTHERS of romance readers as well as readers of romance.

I'm still pondering questions, but it will be along the lines of "What do you read," "why do you think your SO reads romance," and "do you feel threatened by your SO's choice of reading material?"

..and for the readers, it will be something like, "Why do you read romance," "do you read any other genres," and "what do you think your significant other's choice of reading material says about your SO?"

If you're interested in participating, and if your SO is interested in participating, comment here or please email me - abigail.writes@yahoo.com with the subject ROMANCE ARTICLE. While I'd like to have both you and significant other, I'll take one or the other as well.
