What was your reaction to the oath that our lovely Leo Valdez made while sailing away on a raft, away from Ogygia...away from Calypso. Please do tell Caleoian!!!!!!

I started screaming and crying and fangirling. Part of me was screaming at Leo. like, DID YOUR BRAIN GET FRIED WITH FIRE AND YOU COULDNT THINK STRAIGHT WHAT LEO WHY WHY WHAT IF YOU CAN NEVER FIGURE OUT A WAY TO COME BACK FOR CALYPSO YOUR CHANCES WITH CALY WILL REDUCE IF YOURE BLOODY DEAD UGHHH BUT THEN TE OTHER PART OF ME WAS SCREAMING AT LEO HOW SWEET HE WAS AND HOW MUCH HE MUST LOVE HER TO COME BACK FOR HER OMG OMG OMG

I thought:

Personally, I was okay with the oath. Because its so SWEET! And Leo loved her. And he was probably gonna fulfill it without dying. *crisses fingers, squeezes eyes shut and whispers, "Please please please!"*

Yeah, and I think it will help Leo feel needed. Before he was kinda unsure and felt left out. Now, he has a goal and knows he's important. Of course, he was always important and needed, but you know what I mean. :p

I am really worried about the whole Leo- Calypso thing and the oath. I mean, he REALLY made an oath. It's not some: "oh sure Calypso, I'll come rescue you like superman!"
It's more like the unbreakable vow in Harry Potter. It's called swearing on the River Styx. And you die if you don't keep your promises.
I'm also worried about this oath having to do with the Great Prophecy. "...an oath to keep with a final breath..."
What if... NO! I CANT THINK ABOUT IT!!!!
This part in the prophecy comes before "...and foes bear arms to the doors of death." part.
Leo made the oath before they reached the doors of death....
I'm worried he won't save Calypso, or if he tries, he will die trying to reach her. I can't allow that to happen. At all.
I have been praying every night that Rick Riordan isn't writing what I'm worried he's writing... I know, it sounds silly, but seriously, I actually have been. And I hope God hears my prayers because even though Leo isn't a real person, he is a real person in my head, and I would be devastated if he or Calypso died without having a future together.

I'm hoping that they survive. I think they will, because I heard Rick Riordan say that he usually doesn't like killing off his main characters... So I'm hoping and hoping that they will be happy and have a future together.

Yeah I heard he doesn't like killing his main characters too. Besides, I hope he knows he'd be hunted down if he messes with Caleo! :p

But I seriously will be devastated if Caleo doesn't work out. DX

Plus, I'd be horrified if Percy and Annabeth split up. They need to get married, have kids, and live long, happy lives. They deserve it.
