I hope all of you had a very merry Christmas or whatever holiday you observe during this winter season :-) I know it's a busy time for most of us, but if you could take a minute to nominate a book you'd like to read for January in the new year, that would be great! Since it's a bit late in the month for a poll, I'll pick among the nominations if that's okay with all of you. :-)

Abby There are so many good books to choose from, but I would like to nominate In the Shadow of the Lamp, by Susanne Dunlap. If you need more inspiration, just check out my to-read shelf. Nearly everything on there is historical fiction! :)

I hope it's okay that I nominated two books! You can pick which one to read or both :-)
