A second guest room

Hunter smiled as he stood in the doorway "In my room, wanna see?" He said wiggling his eyebrows. She looks perfect in this old room, it's like she was born in the wrong era. "Do you have everything you need?" He asked as he summoned a glass gin, he took a sip eyeing her and again didn't offer her a drink. He drank too much and he knew it, but he never drank to the extent of getting drunk, Vee however would get wasted anywhere anytime.

Hunter made a buzzing sound "Wrong" he said. "I do drink too much, but who said I don't like it? Why would I drink too much if I don't like it?" He asked. The way she bit her lower lip was, well, frankly turning him on. He knew however that she's not up for it, not tonight at least so he busied himself by looking around the room and drinking.

"Says who?" He knew she was right as always but really he liked drinking that was it. "And for heaven's sake stop biting your lip" he said looking away, refiling his cup, probably just to annoy her.

Hunter shook his head "I am on edge, because you're biting your lips, it turns me on, and it makes my head go to places that would scare the shit out of you"! He said exasperated, why can't she just do what she's told for once? He swallowed the rest of his drink and the cup vanished "Happy now?"

Hunter groaned "Nothing, what happens next is that you go to bed and I drink myself to blackout, how about that?" He can't believe that she's such a tease! They both know nothing's going to happen, yet she's driving him insane and she's leaving tomorrow. So it's not exactly playing fair.

Hunter felt something snap inside of him, which means that something's wrong with either Vee or Stefan. He closed his eyes focusing his mind to read their thoughts, oops definitely not Vee he said getting out of her head quickly. He then checked on Stefan, his mind was blank. That's not possible unless he's... "Something's wrong with Stefan! Come with me please" he didn't want to be alone scared that he might do something crazy. Rushing quickly towards the common room he kept trying to find any fleeting thoughts but there was none.

Hunter knocked softly on Kalia's door opening it quietly so he wouldn't wake her up if she was asleep. Peeking his head he found the bed empty and she was sitting in front of window hugging her legs. He walked into the room closing the door behind him and leaned against it looking at her. She was wearing his shirt, where did she get that? He didn't wear it in years. However she looked beautiful with her hair messy and her legs bare from thighs to toes "Are you okay?" He asked softly not trusting himself to get closer to her "I'm sorry about the whole Vee scene" he said sheepishly.

Hunter took a moment before he walked towards her. Her head was somewhere else and he didn't want to disturb her but he was curious. He seems to always be curious when it comes to her. Sitting next Kalia he pulled her legs and rested them on his lap and looked out the window caressing her feet unconsciously "What are you thinking?" He hoped she didn't hate it so much here. Vee was of course a bitch to her even more than usual and he really had no idea why.

Hunter sighed "And by some people you mean Vesta" shaking his head he continued "Ignore her, she'll get bored with taunting you soon enough" or at least he hoped. "But that's not what I meant anyway. You're head's somewhere else. What are you thinking about" he then noticed that he was rubbing her feet so he cleared his throat and took his hands off rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment. He tried to keep his eyes off her leg but found it extremely difficult for some reason.

Hunter smiled "I like that answer" he said teasingly. "I know it's hard to get me out of your head" wiggling his eyebrows he grinned at her. "Aren't you tired? I thought you'd be asleep by now" he asked pulling her closer that she was basically sitting on his lap but not quiet. This was so unlike him. Yeah he always made his women feel appreciated and not just some one night stands or casualties but this was different. He was doing all those little things without so much as a thought and it scares the hell out if him. What if he's falling for her? This would oy end badly for both of them. He pushed those thoughts away as he watched her look at him.

Hunter closed his eyes as she locked her legs around his waist "A guy can only take too much Kalia" he whispered "You do realize you're not wearing any pants right?" He asked as he shifted a little. She was driving him insane acting all small and innocent! Opening his eyes he didn't waste time to look for the blush that surely would be there and leaned down caressing her jawline with his lips. "If you keep looking at me like that, you won't be getting any sleep tonight let alone leaving the mansion anytime soon" he said softly in her ear. What is wrong with him? Maybe he's so hooked because she's a challenge? Yeah probably that's it he told himself. But on some unconscious level he knew he was whipped.

"Better for my sanity" he muttered. Grabbing hold of her legs he stood up with her still attached to him. "Now miss you're appareling a long way tomorrow and there'll be some walking so you'd better catch some sleep." He said laying her down on the bed. He leaned down to claim her lips and kissed her softly. "Plus I need my beauty sleep" he teased. He was contemplating staying with her or going to his bed. Well everyone was sleeping with someone as it seems tonight, so without further dwelling he took off his shirt and scooted next to Kalia under the covers. "Is this okay?" He asked suddenly nervous that she might be uncomfortable with him sleeping in her bed.

"Pillow talk?" Okay he no idea what that is. He was grateful that she put some shorts on, maybe he will actually get some sleep though the shorts weren't much longer than shirt. "Trust me, the only pillow talk I know doesn't lead to sleeping" he said smirking back "So come here.." Pulling her to his chest he pushed the hair off her forehead and kissed it "and sleep woman!" He was one word away from suggesting she stays here and forget about school but if Bernard knew, he would murder him.

Every time Hunter's brain drifted to sleep he finds himself snapping out of it. Why isn't he sleeping? His body basically shut down long ago, yet his head was still buzzing. He was still worried about Stefan, what if something happens while he's asleep? It might be too late this time. Kalia's closeness wasn't making things any easier as well. Yeah his body relaxed but his imagination was going wild. Her breathing was uneven so he knew she wasn't asleep either and he kind of gave up that it will ever come. "So" he said breaking the silence "about that pillow talk" He said hoping he was not waking her up. "What's that exactly?"

"Shoot" he said smirking. Turning to lay on his back, hands behind his head, he looked at the ceiling "what do you like to do?" He asked "like when you're free and not hanging around older boys and being bullied by their friends" he continued teasing her. He wanted to know everything about her which was fairly new as he usually wasn't that interested. But she was his girlfriend anyway, even if only till morning, he ought to be interested. He thought about their little arrangement and what would his friends think of it. Stefan would probably think it's genius and then Vee would come up with a smartass reason why this is a very bad idea.

Hunter stiffened a little "You're not so different from Vee now, because god knows she takes full advantage of that body of hers just like you are now" he said relaxing a bit. He'll have to learn to tolerate her touches without jumping the poor girl. Her innocence was amusing and exhilarating at the same time. "Plus, you didn't answer my question" he said. "I'll let you sleep after that I promise" even if he didn't she'll probably nod off anytime now.

Hunter had a good comeback but she was starting to fall asleep so be kept his mouth shut. He decided he'll lay next to her for a bit longer then probably go shower and check on Stefan. He definitely needed a drink, but everything in the cabinet was out of the question now, they'll have to restock. His head started to wander to possible reasons for what happened to Stefan. A poison is so far fetched, everyone is the mansion drank, that would be risking poisoning all of them. So what? Maybe someone's messing with his head from outside? That needs a goddamn powerful wizard that is brilliant Occlumency. Tracking him down also would be almost impossible. He started to drift a little though he was still awake on some level.

Hunter woke up with a start, his phone buzzing in his pocket. It was Quin shouting commands at him, he was going to give him a piece of his mind but decided he was stressed enough. Plus he hung up not giving him a chance. He looked out the window, it was dawn already, he must've slept a couple of hours. Getting out of bed he heard water running in the bathroom, it must've been Kalia taking a shower. He knocked on the door "Hey, I'll get ready so I can head south with you. I'm bringing Stefan's sister for protection. She doesn't live in the dorms though, has her own place" he waited for her to answer before he could go check on Stefan before leaving.

Hunter felt his jaw drop "What do you mean you're not going to school? Bernard would KILL ME if he knew you were skipping school under my watch! Literally murder me" he said and he was not exaggerating. "We can handle things here, it's our job. Your job is to go kickass in school so you can work for Bernard" he said crossing his arms. Things look like they're gonna get ugly if Stefan requested protection for his sister, he can't have Kalia roam around! Her sisters already lost their parents, what's he gonna do if something happened to her? "Please let's not fight about this and just pack your bags" he knew however that she won't budge, because he wouldn't and they're both stubborn like that.

Hunter groaned "I'm not Hungry" he said grumpily. "I'm going to check on Stef, you go eat" He wants to just have a quick look that he's not collapsing before they leave on their rescue. "And since you're gonna stay, get working on that potion as fast as you can. We still need it. And stay out of Vee's way, I don't want to have to explain to your sisters how you mysteriously disappeared" if she wants to stay here, then she'd better get used to him barking orders at her. He could take her with him south, but Vee sucks ass at potions, she's best at transfiguration and 'sketchy' potions that are most likely to kill people. So it's actually a good think Kalia was staying, but of course he won't admit it.
