Looks like you've got a pretty good list of reads there, Niamh.

Pippi Longstocking is a childhood fave of mine, enjoy!

message 3: by Niamh (new)

Niamh | 61 comments Thanks Tien :)

I've never read Pippi Longstocking so looking forward to that one. I rejigged some of my reads as my library didn't have some. Hopefully I will be able to get through the ones I have now... only one that I'm not sure of getting is the Mitch Albom one but I'm sure I'll be able to find another one that fits into there without any hassle.

One down and nearly finished 2 more. This is really keeping me busy :p

Aw, isn't that annoying! I must've got 3 library cards (3 different networks / councils) -got 2 of those before I moved house as my previous house was smack bang in between 2 libraries which belong to different councils. And since I've moved, I needed one for my current council, of course ;)

However, I still can't get everything I want... at least 2 out of my LOST list aren't available anywhere! What the!

btw, how did you like The Lovely Bones?
& glad to see it's keeping you out of trouble ;p

Niamh | 61 comments Finally got my new laptop so I'm back in action. Only a couple left to read in Jan but have to go researching today to see what I can come up with for Feb.
Really liked the Lovely Bones. Really glad that I didn't watch the movie first :)

You are still doing a lot better than I am, Niamh!

Re: Lovely Bones - I think in some ways, what we imagine in our heads can be a lot worse. Though, of course, with movies, sometime, they choose to tone things down. It was still awful, in any case!

Hi Niamh, book #2 doesn't seem to have a 'J' word / name of author?

book #6, you could argue that Jane Austen being co-author ;)

message 20: by Niamh (new)

Niamh | 61 comments Thanks Tien!

Looks like I had a total brain failure when putting this one together. I was looking at "P" instead of "J" for some of them. Don't know what I was doing - probably a few things at the same time. I know that I'm trying to knock 3 or 4 months books out at once and it obviously isn't working :/

I'll just have to get myself back on track over the weekend and actually get some books finished instead of just putting them into a list.
