Five relationships:

1) 50 year old is Father to 30 year old
2) 50 year old is Grandfather to boy
3) 30 year old is Uncle to boy
4) Boy is Grandson to 50 year old
5) Boy is Son to 20 year old

A Los Angeles businessman took great pains to learn Japanese from a native speaker of the language. He became fluent; his vocabulary and grammer were excellent and his accent was good. When he later went to Japan and started speaking Japanese with a group of businessmen there, they could hardly contain their surprise and amusement at the way he spoke. Why?
