Any thing we can do to make the group better?

Can we please be at least limited to two rp places at once per character? Bacause yes these roleplays are long and detailed, but it takes a while usually for the person to respond, and I'm talking about all of us really.


Also, why can't we 'RP hijack' lol? I mean idk I just feel like there are a lot more characters now as the group is growing and that it's okay if more than two people rp in one topic- cuz I mean, realistically, most public places has multiple conversations going around at once, and there is a search bar right next to the topic where we can just enter the other persons name...

I agree! I think we should just stick by not jumping into other people's rps without permission, but if it's a separate one in the same place, then it's okay. Because when more people start roleplaying it wouldn't be practical to create a new place for each rp.

The RP Hijacking rule is a good one. It gets annoying when you have your own rp going on then another pair decides to RP in the same Location. I totally understand that there are more characters now and more will be made, but we can always create more locations. But this is up to Kayla.

Well yeah, but like I said there is a search engine to your right lol. I find it a bit irritating how we're limited to where we can roleplay when the group is growing and we all are so advanced that it takes a while for people to respond- and for people to finish up the roleplay. I've been doing a roleplay for like four or five days and they just met each other- now I don't find anything wrong with it, but I personally wouldn't mind if other people came in to the roleplay topic as well.

Woah, guys. I was only gone a couple hours and I miss everything...

But I agree with Kay. RP highjacking is pretty annoying and can get really confusing. If you have five characters in one spot, people can forget who they're talking to or just not notice previous post from their RP partner. There are all kinds of other locations we can make for you to RP in!

And RPing in two locations at the same time can also get very confusing. Not just to you, but to the other people you RP with. I know waiting sucks, but it's unfortunately a part of role-playing. In the mean time, you can create other characters? That way, you can have more than one RP going...

Everyone please just be patient! People get busy sometimes with life outside of GR. You have to keep that in mind. Kayla will be back soon and I'm sure she can address your problems. She is the head MOD, so the rules of the group are her decision. If you have any other concerns, ask me or another MOD and I'm sure they both agree when I say that we will try to help you out to the best of our abilities.

And @Jaywest: If you wanted a J name for your character, how about Jason? Julian? Julius? James? Jack? Jake? Jacob?

Okay, I've read over all your comments and here's my decision on it.

All MODs are allowed to approve characters, not just me. Thought that was obvious...sorry if it wasn't.

It is okay for someone to jump in to an active RP only if they have the permission of the people already RPing in that thread to join in on their RP. However, you are still not allowed to start a new RP in a thread where a current RP is going on. Sorry.

New threads can always be added with the increase of members and characters, so I don't see that as a reason why the rule should be lifted. If there is a certain thread you'd like to use, let us know and we will make a similar one for you.

As for the RPing your character in two places; no. The answer on that is no. This isn't a supernatural RP, and your character doesn't have the ability to be in two places at once; so you can finish up your RP with one person and then move on to the next.

So wait, if let's say I want to rp at the beach and it's taken by your character(with someone else), and I ask your permission to bring my to there- and you guys say it's okay, then I can rp there and it wouldn't count as rp hijacking? Right?

Also, what about the party? Can we have that one rp as an excuse? Like, just pretend that it is before or after the other rp :P because really post places would be dead except for that one topic, lol

If you wanted to RP at the beach, and someone is already there, you can request to have your character join their RP but you cannot ask to join the thread then start a separate RP with someone else. Sorry, but that is still thread hijacking. There will not be two separate RPs going on in the same thread at the same time. Like I said, we can always make more threads or you could just use one that's not in use.

The only exception to that rule will be the party, as you cannot have a party with only two characters.
