Vampire Academy? They're amazing--they don't describe sex but they do mention it frequently and there's a lot of passionate kissing but nothing erotic.

Anything written by Neal Shusterman should work nicely. If you haven't read the Skinjacker Trilogy, I'd recommend you start there, with Everlost (since you were leaning toward fantasy).

Fablehaven is technically MG (I think) but I still love it! :)

Ooh! Ooh! The DARKNESS RISING trilogy by Kelley Armstrong is a fave of mine!!! :D Kind of paranormal-ish, but lots of adventure and romance. ;)

Have you ever read Defiance by C.J. Redwine. Another good one! :)
