This is an amazing dystopian read, so scary and realistic, with some of the best characters ever! Can't wait to start discussing, and I can't wait for the Q&A!!

I agree, Jenny! This was so realistic it was truly frightening. And Mike is giving away an eARC of the third book in the series
that releases in April to one lucky Q&A participant!! Eeep!! Good luck everyone!

Ahhh! I hope you all love it as much as I did! And Mike Mullin is the coolest guy in the world, he read
for me and wrote an incredible review, how awesome it that? And he's giving away a signed ARC paperback of Sunrise to one person in our group!!!
Ooh, SO LUCKY Mara!! I'm jealous! I think you'll love the first two books :)

I stand corrected! We have just heard from the man himself!! WOOT WOOT, Mike!!

I'm so excited to start the second book. I rang in the new year reading and finishing Ashfall, if it wasn't so late I would start the second! when is the third one due for release, please say it won't be months?!
thanks for sharing your amazing book with us!
I was completely enthralled when I read Ashfall! This was one of the most realistic apocalyptic books I've ever read and it seriously scared the crap out of me!
Also, thanks to this book, I remembered that I had trained in the use of a bo staff about 15 years ago, so ordered one right after reading this book. My grandkids are terrified now when I pull it out from under my bed because I suck at it and they run to get out of the way, but it's a great weapon when you have NOTHING. Hahahaha!
So thanks Mike for that reminder!

Ooh, if you loved the first book, you'll love the second too :) It was incredible! And yes, only have to wait until March for the third! Or you could win the signed ARC from Mr. Mullin himself!

Anyone else?"
Yeah, the noise felt so real, I almost felt like covering my ears. I was hearing everyone's voices muted in my head. So vivid :)

I agree completely. What really freaked me out was how realistic it felt as far as setting. As I'm from Iowa and all...very accurate!

Exactly, I felt like Mullin attacked the problems and characters in such a real way. That's what made it a fantastic book, one I couldn't put down and kept thinking about after reading it.
