Shut Up & Read discussion

We have several yearly challenges which will be, as the name implies, going on year round. Feel free to join in on one or all three. If you cannot start right now, join us in a couple of months!

Musical Challenge

For this challenge pick a word or phrase that has to do with your musical interests. Use the acronym to pick your books and spell that word.

Examples (Use one of these or pick your own):
You could use a composer, particular artist, band title, song title, opera title, album title, musical genre, etc. If you choose to do a collection of things, an added challenge might be to have them relate to each other.

For instance:
The Beatles, Hey Jude, Paul McCartney, Classic Rock, Fab Four or
Nine Inch Nails, With Teeth, March of the Pigs, Trent Reznor, Industrial etc.

You get the picture…

Everyone who participates in and completes at least 15 books for this challenge will get their name in the hat for a drawing for a $15 Amazon or B&N gift certificate (winner's choice) at the end of December!

To be entered into the drawing, you must let me know when you complete the challenge. There will be too many posts for me to go through them all looking for finished ones. Simply copy and paste your entire post into a new post at the end – or post a new message saying "I finished in thread #??."

Go ahead and post your books now, but do not start reading until January 1st.

This will be my first challenge :D

It mixes two of my favorite things (music and reading), so I think it's a perfect opportunity to quit lurking.

Well, I think it could be certainly used for P. As for the rest, maybe? Articles shouldn't count, but I suppose you'd be able to use it for the O if you needed it.
