Robin (robin-alisha) | 209 comments Have you ever just felt completely out of ideas? That's how I feel right now. My brain is just zapped of ideas. Completely. I try writing, and I end up hitting backspace over and over again. I just....UGH. I feel like I've lost my passion for writing. :( I'm trying to take a break right now. But....ACK!

None. I mean I'm unpublished. I just enjoy writing.

Indigo.plume | 105 comments Sometimes ideas come to you in the form of silly observations from your daily life. You probably have a ton of ideas everyday, but if you don't keep a writer's journal you may never remember them all. I have a back log of ideas in my little journals, and it would probably take several lifetimes for me to develop them all into stories. Can you see yourself keeping a journal?

Kim (kimgm) | 1032 comments Sometimes it helps to do some "what if..." exercises and free-write. When I got stuck while writing Maybe Baby, I asked myself questions like "What if Laney couldn't say no to him...?" and then let myself think about the consequences...and then I wrote for 30 minutes without stopping. And it started leading to other ideas.

Rachelle, Naughty Enabler (muze4u) | 11 comments Maybe try joining a group that motivates writing. I remember there was a group on livejournal a few years back just for the NaNo challenge. There were also groups like one called '10 minutes ' where the mod posted a word or sentence and you would write about that for 10 minutes a day. I'll bet there's something like that here.
