Sure! I'll be playing Alex, the male leader of the Glade, but you can play the female one if you want to.

No, you don't have to! Keepers are like the leaders of certain "jobs" in the glade, and they also help in the glade council...

couldn't I be someone who is higher then the rest,but lower then the keeper???like gally he's higher then the rest of the gladers and lower then alby and newt-or like newt.higher then the rest but lower than alby?hahaha!is it an option?

Yeah, I guess that would make sense. She could be on the council and stuff without necessarily needing to be a Keeper.
