A great way to start that year with another fantastic book! This is number 3 in the Virals series, and probably the most dramatic to date. The story lines hooked you and just never let go, and man, the twist with Ben towards the end. Did not see that coming. At all. Could barely put it down for the last 100 pages or so. Can't wait to read the next one, expected publication later this year! :)

This was probably my favourite of the Holmes short story collections so far. You always know you're in for an interesting read with this one, and when they're all just little mysteries it's easy to sit down and read one in fifteen minutes or so. Always a pleasing and interesting read.

I'm off to a great start this year! This was a nice smooth read, and so engaging and exhilarating that I finished it all in one sitting. The plot was great, the characters great (as usual), and I look forward to where the final book will take the series.

Such a beautiful read, I could hardly put it down at times. A wonderful story, the threads weaving together wonderfully, providing a unique insight into autism and its associated issues. Another magically Lisa Gevona book.

This was a frebie that turned out better than I thought it would. It was a good plot, and had some good twists, some I saw coming, some I didn't. But the women were too needy, and Vince came off like too much of a jerk sometimes.

Whilst off to a flying start for 2014, this book was a bit of a sad end to the month as it was just bad. I only finished it because it was a read for review, and I hoped it might get better as I liked the premise. But the flow was chopping, the dialogue horrible, and the general prose and grammar appalling.

This was a great read. Engaging characters, interesting dystopian world, great storyline. A few unbelievable decisions from some characters, and the use of two first person narrators bugged me, but otherwise it was a really good read, and I will most likely pick up the next one in the series.

This was an okay book. An epic fantasy tale, with magic, mythical creatures, adventure. All pretty good. But the prose was a little too long-winded in points, and got quite repetitive towards the end.

I really liked Talley's first book, but this was one a bit of a disappointment. I liked the premise and the plot was pretty well done. Most of the characters I didn't really connect with, and sometimes it was hard to remember who was who, and keen track of who was talking when. The flashes back and forward in time were a little annoying. By the end, I didn't really care what was going to happen next.

Another good edition to this series. Wasn't really a fan of the final name-sake story - jarred too much with the rest. And as usual hard to keep up as it jumps around in time so much. But I love the characters and as always very interesting mysteries.

A great edition to this series, making me want to read the next one! The world building is great and I love all the characters, especially Adele, Tristan, and Roc. Went on for a little too long after the main climax, though.

A really great read. Good premise, interesting characters, great sex scenes. I wasn't a huge fan of Angel and Brea as the main characters, but I liked all of the secondary ones. The 'afterthought' chapters at the end were a bit too much, though; could easily have ended a few chapters earlier, or fit all of the happily ever after stuff into a smaller chapter.

A rather long review that sums up my basic feelings about this book: worse I've ever read. EVER. I only continued because I wanted to see if it would get any better (it didn't) and to see how the plot turned out (pretty badly). It was so bad it was, a times, comical.

Some promise in the idea of it, and a few things were done well, but I didn't really connect with any of the characters. There was also a bit too much gore and violence that pure shock value, which detracted from the story a bit. Probably not going to pick up the next one.

A fantastic end to a fantastic series. Although I was sad to see it end, and I will miss the opposrtunity to read more about Cammie, Bex, Liz, Macey, Zach, Mr Solomon, and the others, it was a well-rounded ending and I am content that they will all live happily ever after (well, as happily ever after as spies can live).

This was a pretty average read. The premise was okay, but Samantha was just not a likable character, and I wouldn't sympathise with her at all. There were too many plot holes and too many coincidences. Will not be picking up this series or author again.

A good post-apocalyptic read. Good setting, good story, good characters. Mora was a bit too trusting and changed her mind way too much (not to mention too easily at times), and the romance elements felt forced. But otherwise very good and I will probably pick up the next one at some point.

A very, very bad book. Confusing story line, horrible world building, generally flat characters. Would not be recommending this author or series.

A good read. Good characters and storyline, I liked the romance/sex aspect. The suspense aspects were well done, though I picked up on the big reveal a little early. Would read this author/series again.

A short read, but some good characterisation and world building within it. Keen to pick up the next ones.

A good story let down by some average writing and characterisation in places. The romance and love triangle felt forced in some places, but panned out okay. Overall a good story, may move on to the next one.

A great little read! I loved the Australian setting and felt it wasn't over done or put on. Just a nice, realise Aussie family in a small town. A few of the family aspects were a stretch, and I was a bit confused about what husband (I thought he was dead!) but otherwise really good and I will be getting on to the next ones!

A good twist of the vampire genre, though the romance seemed to move a little to fast at times. A few unbelievable moments, but overall a good read.

Picked this up quickly after I read the prequel and really enjoyed it. God settling, good story, good characters. Nice epic ending, though I was a bit confused as to who was off wear at the end. Will keep going with this one!

This was a good read, picked up as a freebie because I needed more booked that started with 'I'. An interesting story, diverse characters and a good message.

A nice short read, though it would have benefited from a few thousand more words to extend some scenes and deal with some issues more effectively. But a good story and a great twist at the end - did not see that one coming!

This was a gift from a friend, and a great read! Long, but very detailed, with a great magical world and a host of interesting characters and creatures. The Scottish accent was difficult at first but by the end I was loving that feature! Looking forward to reading the next one.
