I wanted to read 50 books in 2013 but only managed 30. I'm going to challenge myself to read 5 more in 2014. I'll also be travelling for most of 2014 so it will be interesting to see how I do! :)

Hi, yes he is a hundred years old and he does climb out of his window and 'disappear'. The storyline is amazing though and encompasses many decades and great adventures. I definitely recommend it. A five-star read.
