Any Fannibals round here?

Its one of my favourite shows! I'm really excited for the new season in April.

April? Isn't it February? Because they released the new promo poster and it says February 28th!

Don't freak out, but this show made me wanna cook, seriously, watching Hannibal cooking is pure art. At first I was like: cooking, ew no way, but now I'm looking for recipes and checking cookbooks! My friends think I'm nuts.

And Will Graham is so cute! I want to wrap him in a cover and protect him against the cruel world!

Anybody here read Thomas Harris' Hannibal series? *just curious. I know the Hannibal (TV Series) is about Will Graham Vs. Hannibal Lecter which was not the focal point of any of Thomas Harris' works*

Yes, they are working on the new season. As far as I know it's going to be back on the spring of 2015.

I agree that (view spoiler)[Beverly's death was awful, but it felt satisfying in the weird way that Hannibal put so much effort into his design it felt like he was putting her on a pedestal showing her so much respect. It does suck that it was Beverly tho. She was one of my fave characters :/ (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Yeah I guess she came off as a very sensible woman with a lot of common sense, so when she went to his house, half of me felt it made sense because it was confirmed to her that Hannibal was at the hospital, and it was unlikely she would be free and Hannibal would be out (since he does work at his house) at the same time, but the other the half was just yelling at the tv for her to get out because we all knew that she wouldn't survive if she found out his secret. She was the closest to resolving the mystery besides Will and almost the only one that still believed in him. She was one of the best characters of the show. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Yes! When Hannibal smelt Freddie on Will you could literally see his heart breaking. He let Will in and Will betrayed him. Yet you could also see he was a little proud that Will had the guts (no pun intended :P) to go against him and to play the game with him. Who do you think survived? I think Abigail will die, but we'll see her in flashbacks, and I think Will, Jack and Alana will all survive. And omg yes I did not see Bedelia coming. That traitor D: Unless she's trying to play with him and keep herself alive since the police found her in hiding.... Dammit I can't wait for season 3 (hide spoiler)]

I think Abigail died and maybe Jack (mostly because of the way he was injured). Will needs to live to have a third season xD and Alana is probably alive (she might have some broken bones, but I don't think the fall was high enough to kill her). As for Bedelia, knowing that Hannibal was going to kill her, I don't think she is going to stay with him for a long time.

(view spoiler)[Yeap I think Alana will be crippled. I think Jack survives because the storyline with his wife is still unresolved. And I think Jack surviving gives the writers a chance to explore his.. well I guess his feelings towards Hannibal. Because on one hand we have Hannibal's attempted murder of basically everyone, but on the other Hannibal did save his wife (if only to prolong her death).
I really hope we get to see Mason and Margot in season 3 as well, though it's unlikely since they're introducing a whole bunch of new characters :/ But don't get me wrong, I'm super excited for them, but Mason... (hide spoiler)]

oh, I would love to see what happens with the other two. Mason was so creepy and didn't feel any remorse for his actions. I wonder what Margot has been doing as a revenge for what he did to her.

(view spoiler)[Personally I don't think the show would leave Bella as a loose end. I guess Jack could die and we'd see the distraught Bella successfully ending her own life which would be really sad :( The Vergers will probably show up in a later season. I don't even know how they managed to air Mason cutting up his face and eating his own nose on tv. It was crazy. The movie was less graphic because I don't recall them actually showing the destruction of his face? I haven't seen the movies for a while so I can't completely remember. I just remember the disfigured result... (hide spoiler)]

Yeah I was watching behind the scenes stuff and they said they could only air it on tv if they made it darker so you couldn't really see it. I think that's what they do to get away with most of their stuff.

It makes sense. With the way Mason's face looks one doesn't really need to see what happens to know how horrific it was.
Well if you think about it, Will ate it on season 1 when Hannibal brought him breakfast. So all the 'family' has eaten human flesh at least once. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I guess shadowing Mason's face also allows the imagination to play free. I loved the way they covered his face at the end when Jack visited as well. The mask was really cool. Bandages would have look really tacky.

I think Hannibal was intrigued by Will. He wanted someone who was able to appreciate his 'masterpieces' and thought that the empathy of Will made him amenable to that.
He believed in him and was 'betrayed'.
