Chosen at Nightfall discussion

I thought this book was terrible. I mean I liked how the author wrapped up the story. But more than 50% of the book was about which one Kylie should choose, Derek or Lucas.

All she did was cry and agonize over Derek or Lucas!
Kylie was also being a total BRAT over Lucas, who I admit was being a jerk, but why should she care?
She supposedly doesn't love him!

I mean god! This book drove me nuts over all Kylies dramatic heartbreaks in it!

Does anyone, anyone at all feel a little bit the same???

Completely agree! I had the hardest time finishing this one and I really liked the series to begin with. It was so disappointing that the whole book was about her love interest and how hard her life is and blah, blah, blah... I mean, it was like middle school drama. So lame.

I think I wrote a mean review... and I don't do that often.

I really loved the series, but Kylie annoyed me a little bit! I felt that she acted more like a 13/14 year old rather than a 16 year old. I loved Della though, she was my favorite character out of the whole book, so I'm REALLY looking forward to her book Reborn in May when it comes out!

I enjoyed reading this series, but the last book was by far my least favorite. I'm happy that Kylie chose Lucas, but I feel like it was kind of late notice considering she already spent the whole series agonizing over the both of them. I also thought that the 'big battle' scene in the end was really anti-climactic, it could have been way better. But oh well, at least the other books were good.

I think this was a really awesome book, but not the best in the series. Although at the end everything was hurriedly tied up and the big battle was a bit of a let down, it was enjoyable. Most of the comments other people have posted about this book are negative, but I think this book deserves credit for all the enjoyable moments there were. I would defiantly recommend this series to others!!
