Good vs Evil discussion

An extermlly large park

Aaron got out of his car and walked into the park. Every evening, he came here and walked until the sun had set. His orange shirt stood out in the greenery of the trees

Cody made his way into the lush green park, it was the one piece of green in the entire city, and it was a nice place to just come and relax. With a loud yawn he made his way over to a nice wooden bench and plopped on their and began reading The Great Gatsby.

As Aaron started singing softly to himself, he came up to a boy reading The Great Gatsby. Sure, this was the perfect place to read besides a cafe, but he looked isolated. "Hey, how's it going?"

Cody's eyes flickered up from his book to the new guy standing beside him. A small smile quickly died when he remembered he had a tough time trusting people. " Fine." Was all that came out before going back to his book.

"That's all? Surly there must be more to it. You're reading a classic film the 1920's." Aaron stated. A slight wind brushed by and brought the smell of pinecones

" Nope, that' s about it." Cody said with a small innocent shrug. It's not that he hated or disliked the guy in any way. No the problem was, he was kinda reserved and didn't trust that many people, only Alex and Luna.

"A famous woman said that communication is the essence of true pleasure. You should think on that some." Aaron said and sat down on the bench

" Well, that's a bold statement considering some people find solitude the essence of true pleasure." Cody said with a small chuckle, this guy was handsome, but he couldn't get too close. Not yet.

"Solitude, in my opinion, is voluntary imprisonment. Don't you find bliss in the company of others?" Aaron said. A tough nut to crack, no matter

" Some... I guess." He said with a shrug. He couldn't give this guy too much info. He didn't know who he was or anything. He just wanted to be safe.

"You have a gift for self tolerance. May I ask your name?"

Cody looked at him for a split second then looked to the ground. " Cody."

"Aaron. I'm Aaron." A small smile played on his face. "Pleasure to meet you."

Cody looked back, he seemed really nice. Maybe he wasn't apart of X's experiments or anything like that. " You... too."

"Ah, those are words I wanna hear! Tell me, how far are you in that book?"

" About midway... why?" He asked with a raised brow, he was defiantly something else that's for sure.

"Oh, I just wanted to know, that's all." Aaron said. "I'm not into reading books from insane authors."

Cody couldn't help but chuckle. " Insane? Well let me tell you a secret , the best people always are.."

"Then I wish I was insane... minus the potential suicide." Aaron chuckled. It was a shame how Fitzgerald died...

" Yeah.." Cody said closing the book. He was actually starting to warm up to Aaron now, and it felt good. " So what are you up too?"

"I come to the park everyday after school to walk. It feels good to be with nature."

" Yeah.. it does.." Cody said with a happy sigh, taking in all the fresh air, and nature surrounding him. " I think I see you around school from time to time."

"Yeah, I'm sure. There's only one school in town." Aaron smiled. "If only there were more hours in the day."

" Correction, only one highschool in this section of the city, but yeah, id rather be here too." Cody said flashing a small smile before putting his book away in his backpack, it was better talking to this guy instead.

"True, true. What's your favorite class at school?"

" Hmmm, science." He said with a shrug, of course that'd be his favorite considering his powers.

"I've never had a thing for the sciences. I prefer art and English." Said Aaron. Science was definitely a weak spot for him

" Eh, to each his own I always say." He said with a small smile as he scooted a little closer to Aaron, god he was handsome.

"Do you play any sports? Particular hobbies you do?" He asked, intrigued to know more.

" Yes actually I swim and from time to time play baseball, and as for hobbies well." He couldn't tall him he was a superhero. " I write,"

"You write? My mother is a writer. What inspires you?"

" Crap... always going deeper into yourself." He thought before trying to pick something. " Mostly ideas I get from friends and music."

"Hmm, music. You don't say. Music is at the heart of everything. 'Without music, life would be a mistake'" Quoted Aaron.

" Mmm, yeah I guess." Cody said with yet another shrug as he shocuted closer.

'Hmm, he's getting closer. Must be warming up to me' Aaron thought. "Do you have a cliche?"

Cody cocked his head to the side curiously. " A what?"

"A cliche. A group of people you hang around. Nerds, jocks, populars, etc."

" Oh... oh that,, yeah... kinda... from John is a jock, but not the asshole jock... but I remain mostly in my own little group."

"I usually float around. Hipsters one day and cheerleaders the next. I like to know new people."

Cody gave another nod, this conversation was actually going great. He was opening up to this a lot quicker then usual guys... wonder why that is. " Do you a best friend?"

Aaron thought for a moment. "No, not really. There's no one really like me." He said

" Oh..." He said with a shrug, getting even closer. He just flashed him a white . His control over fluorine was able to give him a beautiful smile. " My best friend Alex is different from me totally, but I couldn't imagine life without him."

"So you two are that close? That definantly sounds like a true blue best friend."

" Yeah.. best friend imaginable... when my... parents kicked me out." His tone got a little sadder but he tired to pick up. " His family let me live with them... and I have been ever sense." He finished with a shrug.

"Not very good parents of yours." Aaron frowned. He'd seen enough orphans in Italy it nearly made him cry.
