Scotland's version of Internal Affairs. It had its moments.
47. The Crossing Places by Elly GriffithsA quirky archaeologist, a surly detective chief inspector, and child bones in a desolate marshland near Norfolk. Mix all together and you get a wonderful mystery novel. Loved this one.

Too slow paced for a horror novel.
51. The Butterfly Forest by Tom LoweFlorida's Ocala National Forest, hidden money, murder, a dachshund loving retired detective, and butterflies. What's not to love? I enjoyed it.
52. Eerie by Blake & Jordan CrouchStuck in the middle with you and that terrifying entity under your bed. Disappointed in the ending.

A young heroine, evil villains, magic and a cool horse. Loved it.
