BBC Top 100 discussion

I started this challenge (top 100) in 2009!! Still ploughing through!!

Have read a couple more since last update (The lion The witch and The wardrobe; the Hobbit; Emma). Struggled hugely with Emma- it's just not my kind of read!
Have now made a start on Catch-22. Very much enjoying this- finding it very fast paced!

How long is it taking people to do this.... I've been going since 2009 and only about 65 books in (albeit I've ready more as always read all the books in the series rather than just the first one as listed)?

I think it was 2014 when I became aware of the BBC list and started borrowing books from the library from this list, among other pet interests and sites like Fantastic Fiction, as recommended by my local librarian. Hopefully finished by next summer.

I've still a lot of Dickens to work through over the winter, but as it happens I borrowed 'Ulysses' a couple of weeks ago, and it's sitting on my sofa waiting for me, probably my next book!
