What do you guys think about this saga?

I have read and enjoyed the first book. Seen all the movies but the last. Mixed feelings. I like it but Bella's moping gets on my nerves many times.

True! I really, really dislike Bella - she is so unsuitable for Edward. And I think you shud read the other books:) The 2nd book is bad, but the 3rd and last books are great:)

i only liked first and fourth book in the series other were just ok

I loved only 4th book, that was the best....Otherwise rest were okay read.......

I am about to read it in some time! just bought the whole series so I'll give them a try.

It's an awesome series....but I doubt whether u'll like it or not..

Coz....look, don't take it in a wrong sense, I've seen boys your age...how they react to the series n all....and it's just a fact that Twilight is not meant for guys...it's meant for teenage girls....now u may like it, everyone has different choices...but I've hardly seen any guy like twilight. But do try it, coz I personally had loved it when I had read it (I was 11 then...) though presently....I'm not that much of a fan of this book..

is it about the girl lead role? I don't mind that and I personally love the movies, I guess the book is also a little like books. but I am gonna try it anyway coz now I have bought it.

Well....to be honest, the movies are crap as compared to the books. I only love the movies because of Robert Pattinson (:P:P<3<3<3) but seriously....the movies are horrible. So if u like the movies, u'll definitely like the books:):) And the book being written from female POV is okay....but the female herself (Bella) is the most annoying, cranky, nagging, irritating, whiny, clingy girl is the history of books!!!!:P:P

seriously? yeah I guess in the movie she does that a lot but I think it is a lot funny you know? the crazy stuff she does (in the movies) but please don't make me hate the books before I even read them :-(

I won't deny it. I loved it. The first and fourth ones were my favorite. I found the second and third kinda boring.

Same feelings. I loved it back when I read it. Now they seem stupid but once upon a time, I was addicted to the series :))

I have a question about the first book.

Since Alice can see the future once the person in question has decided - like when she knows Bella would want to see Jacob in the third book and Edward disables the starter in her truck.

Why can't Alice see Bella escaping from her at the airport in the first book???

P.S - I love this series. I know there are ample reasons to hate it but I truly enjoyed reading it for the first time. I just spent time reading it a second time last month and the above query has been nagging into me. Somebody please help me understand it!
