All the best with your challenge Michael :-)

Oh, I remember that as being a really sweet story. Good luck with the challenge.

I read that a couple of months ago and enjoyed it. It reminded me of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer (although the GL&PPPS was better, in my opinion!)

Exactly what I was thinking when I posted! And I agree Shaffer was better, but it has been years since I first read 84, Charing Cross Road.
Okay, Michael I am going to list the same challenge...and can this be a dual challenge, cause I am inclined to read a lot of non fiction between fiction but UMMMMM, how do I do that? LOLSomeone lead me to where I need to go...and and I'll try to read 26 non-fiction books and and, oh, read more than Michael LOL
Sharon you will need to make your own thread for the challenge:) In this folder https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group... top right hand side it says "new topic"...click on it and fill it out as you want to, putting your own challenge in the comment box, clicking on "post" and you'll have your own challenge set out...good luck.

Yaaaay - congratulations :)My personal view is never go back. There are only a handful of books I reread and those are for the most part childhood favourites.
There are so many fabulous books out there that I haven't read - I want to get to them while I still can.
My vote for you would be to go for translations
Congratulations on achieving your goal Michael. Well done! I will add some of your reads to my list, I love reading non-fiction. Am currently on Little Failure, but won't read your review until I'm finished
