Powers:
Primary: Shadow control. In any shadow she can wrap it around herself and hide –virtually invisible, call shadows to blind pursuers, and travel from one shadow to the next, limited to a distance of around 100 feet.

Secondary: Voice: she can easily persuade captors or people trailing her to do light things, giving her the advantage. She merely turns on something in her voice. “Close your eyes, please,” or “Turn around,” are common usages when she’s trying to escape. It doesn’t work with larger commands, like “kill yourself,” or more farfetched orders, but it comes as useful in a pinch. She might be able to order an attacker to give her his gun. The stronger the will, the harder it is to order them around.

Tertiary: Weaponry, though rarely called upon. She fenced in school, and with her newfound power, she found she was able to call any weapon to her side to do battle with. She's trained herself in secret, but doesn't let anyone know or resort to this unless she's trapped completely. She can also summon clean fresh clothes, basically an armor/weapon combat power. She hasn't learned that she has this extension of her powers yet.

Personality: Evey is shy and values secrecy and hiding above violence. She has a soft voice and is a gentle soul, although she has a firm will to survive and to remain un-dominated, free.

History: Evey was born as twin to Zach Black, but when she started summoning knives in the cradle, her parents called up some of their distant relations and arranged for her to be raised with them, under the assumption that she'd eventually kill or maim her brother. She was kept updated about him all her life and had no pretenses about exactly who or what she was. The truth was everything to her adopted parents, and they told it, no matter the situation. But when her brother eventually developed powers, she stopped receiving updates from him. And then mutants began popping up all over the world, primarily near where she lived, and her life changed forever. Her parents died in the fires, just as the mutant rising began. She mourned them, having only survived because she’d been in the basement, writing, her most loved talent.

Ahhh. In my mind, most people wear two faces. The fake one you usually see, and then the real one which doesn't come out very often. It's more unique to be yourself all the time, and not slip into different roles around different people.

I have masks, I just rarely wear them. In that way, I'm adorably annoying and special.
