Thanks Paige. Vampires are a really popular fanbase, especially with the tween crowd. What bothers me most about them is how sexually explicit they can get. I had to give up The Vampire Diaries after just two episodes. Some of you might have a different opinion, if so, then just keep it civil.
Vampires are cool. XDApart from Twilight.
Twilight sucks. Completely. And. Utterly. Sucks.
It wasn't even good as a book!
But yeah, overall I like vampires.
P.S: "tween crowd"???
They're slutty. Most people say that vampire series are about real love and commitment but really what they want is blood and lust. The main girls long to have sex, even when they don't know them all that well. Really, not that good of an example.
@Phantom: Tween denotes an age group from around 11-14. (give or take a year or two.)
I don't really know if I like vampires or not. The only book with vampires that I've read was Twilight, and I wasn't a huge fan. I'd like to read Dracula at some point...

Well, If we think about it vampires are real. they just go by a different name in the Christian community: demons. so my question is how CAN you like them?
Well, considering demons are often considered non-existent or simply metaphors (including among Christians)...Plus, I see a distinct difference between my envision of a demon and a vampire.
@Narnia
Perhaps. But one has to agree that it increases sales. It's a proven statistic, and often a part of life.
