Just finished Fear by Anatoli Rybakov, my second Mount TBR book.I'll have a review up on my blog later this morning:

Yesterday I completed Christopher McDougall's Born to Run. Here's the link to my review: http://anewyorkerinthecountry.blogspo...
I'm sitting at five, just about 3 weeks short of the halfway point. I'm pretty close to done with 2 others. SO . .. just about 29 books left for the 2nd half of the year. Like most of you, I find it really difficult not to go to the library or bookstore and bring home more, even if I've vowed to read what's here.
Yeah...I've got a pile of library reads sitting right here beside me...plus a stack of books I bought this year. So much for good intentions :-)
I finished another Mt TBR book a couple of days ago--Portrait of a Novel by Michael Gorra. So that's my sixth. Of course, I also HAD to take out and finish an e-book in the last couple of days--Philip K. Dick's The Man in the High Castle--which means I didn't build momentum off of finishing the Gorra book. Still, I loved the novel, so it was well worth it.
Finished John LeCarre's novel Smiley's People (#7 in challenge), which was excellent. I've had that one on the shelves for three years, so even though it wasn't on my original list, it was definitely a TBR.
Glad you enjoyed The Man in the High Castle. I read that earlier this year (as well as Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?) and discovered that Philip K. Dick is just not my cup of tea.
I haven't read a LeCarre novel yet...but he's on the list...

I've made good progress already with Two Towers and Henry James: The Mature Master.
