Amour Beach discussion

Adrian was walking along the sidewalk. It was almost dusk, the sky a pretty pink and orange from the remaining sunlight. He wasn't reallt doing anything, just mindless thinking. There weren't any attractive girls around to get his attention and he had given Danny his weekly hang out day already. It was time for his chill out time. Unless of course, an attractive girl did end up on the street.

Leigh used to take a walk down this street every summer, every night with her parents. But now she was alone, and sitting on a bench on the side of the street. As weird as it sounds, Leigh actually enjoyed watching people go about their daily lives. Or daily nights in this case. Her blue eyes scanned over the several figures walking along the sidewalk. She liked this street, to her it was peaceful and soothing, a memory of her childhood. Lily hadn't come yet, she would be here any day now. Absently curling a strand of golden hair around her finger, she shivered, pulling her windbreaker tighter around her. It hadn't been a smart choice to dress in short shorts and a tank top underneath her jacket. Tonight it was chilly, the scent of the sea breeze just hitting her nose.

Adrian had stopped by a small toy store, he had a soft spot for Danny and spoiled him, on his walk back. He was looking at a toy truck before heading out, Danny had enough toys and he didn't need more, when he saw the blind in a bench not too far away. Adrian couldn't help but put his lopsided smile on his face as he walked over. "Hey, beautiful," he greeted, immediately sitting down beside her.

Leigh bit down hard on her lower lip as he startled her. "Hey." She said softly, looking up from the ground to examine the man. God, he was hot. Why couldn't she be more like Lily? Lily was the one who was an expert in guys. And this was Adrian, she recognized him immediately. He was that guy that slept around with every girl, of course Leigh had heard of him, being a beacher herself. What did he want with her? Leigh may have shared the spotlight with her sister, but that was with her sister by her side. She wasn't used to being the center of attention.

She seemed a little shy. That was fine with him, sometimes the shyness was cute and funny. "You look familiar." Maybe he saw her at all the parties over the last couple of years. Or crap... what if he had already slept with her and not remember. "Maybe I've seen you at the parties?" Adrian asked. He didn't think about her having a sister.

((Could Adrian and Lily already kinda know each other? Like maybe they've hooked up? So then Adrian could be "Oh! You're Lily's sister!?" What do you think? :) ))

Leigh paused, licking her bottom lip cautiously. "I go to parties sometimes, only when my sister drags me along. It's probably her you have seen before." She gnawed on the inside of her cheek nervously. Even though the two sisters were treated as equals, Lily was the one with the beauty and Leigh was the one with the brains. That's just how things had always been. While Lily took up modeling, Leigh excelled in school. There'd never been another way.

"Oh, well then who is your sister?" he asked kindly. "No doubt she's just as beautiful as you," Adrian smiled, turning a little more flirt on. He never really considered himself having a type, but bashful girls always made him want to penetrate that shyness, metaphorically of course.

"Uh..." Leigh paused, leaning back against the bench and crossing her legs. "Lily. She's more of the one to have the party scene." As much as Leigh hated to admit it, she had never really considered herself as pretty as Lily, but she supposed it was nice of him to say.

"Hmm, Lily..." Adrian tried it out on his tongue. After thinking for a few moments and looking at Leigh's facial features, he suddenly started to remember a girl that he always partied and hooked up with every summer. "Oh! Yeah, I know Lily," he smirked thinking of the last time they saw each other. "I didn't know that she had a sister." If Leigh was anything like Lily, the two of then could have some funt toom
