lol, on my comp under my fav picsi have over fifty pics of sakura and cardcaptor
remember paige? i sent you a few
hey, you know you can add photos to the group, right! so cool! I would, but I already added my limit of 5 to another. its so lame they only give you 5 for every group you join. :(
if i had any pictures to share, that would be lame. but i guess they are trying to save space for reviews and discussions.
true. i gave up trying to collect pictures. i've gone through like three computers, each time loosing all of my pictures. so i just don't do anything picture wise anymore
yep, i gave up finding pictures on the internet and taking pictures. i would never develop them anyway. so when my computer would crash, they would be lost anyway.
well, i would think that most people would get discouraged after going through like 4 computers in like 3 years. it makes keeping an inventory difficult.
it caught me by surprise too when i looked at my shelf and saw like a 1/4 of my books are from clamp. haha
lucky lollibraries and bookstores in my area don't carry manga (and usually it's only a few out of the series >.<)
I have written the same thing in my profile. I went to Barns and Nobles that is close by my town I live in. I asked where the Manga section was and the women had no clue what I was talking about. She said it was called graphic novels then she started to explain me what graphic novels are. She finally said that they were moved to another town, which is 30 mins away from the store I was in. She said that they needed to make room for the games. I thought she was joking until she showed me it. I was mad and left the store. Osaka-san, took me to the other store and I was happy again.

that is one of the most horrifying customer relation stories i have heard in a long time. did she also decide to explain how the name "graphic novel" came about and that after sandman (i think it was sandman anyway) won a literary award that graphic novels are barred from receiving it again? apparently because there are pictures in it, it means it's not a real book.
that reminds me of the time borders basically said i was idiot who didn't know how to read a coupon (even though such stipulations were not part of the original deal) and had me so upset i was shaking. it was one of serveral headbuts with borders. i'm not exactly sad they are closing, i have basically avoided purchasing anything from thier stores for over a year. don't get me wrong, i've been circling their clearances this month. might as well save money on new books instead of trying to sift through worn-out used books at half priced books
anywho-
i can't blame them for downsizing manga. it seems to interest the people with the least amount of disposible income ever. even my favorite comic book store downsized their selection. i now have more titles than they do! what is up with that?!

i got fed up with our only photos being of tsubasa, so i uploaded some in the photo section.
part of the reason for me being more than slightly perterbed might be because i think clamp has done more intersting work, and should not be limited to one series. i know this isn't really the case, and i'm being cranky, but i decided to do something about it. haha
