((AHHH NATSU IM SORRY I FORGOT ABOUT OUR RP))

Nezumi was sitting by the large fountain in tow. squared, drinking a can of juice. He sighed and looked around, looking for someone he knew.

(( WE JUST STARTED IT ANYWAY XD ))

Suu strolled in, his eyes half closed. Kusanagi had sent him on this errand.. Because Suu was doing nothing but sleeping. The King calmly passed a group of school students. He had cut his hair short again, so he wouldn't look too much like his dead brother.

Nezumi saw Suu and his face brightened up, "Suu-chan!" he called, waving a bit. He stook a sip from his can and sigh in relief at the coldness the drink had.

Suu stopped walking somewhere near the fountain, looking around till he spotted Nezumi. The job Kusanagi had given him could wait. He walked over. "Nezumi." He said with a nod, not seeming the least uninterested, yet not seeming interested. Just plain.. Normal.

Nezumi, since he had another, unopened can of juice, tossed it to Suu, "What're you doing around here? I thought you were sleeping?" he asked.

"Something about polishing oil. For his beloved bar." Suu sighed, tossing the can back and forth between both his hands. If he held it too long he might forget and burn it.

message 14: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) Great. Just icily great.

Audrey was lost. And she thought she knew where the Silver Clan was. Turns out she mixed up Silver with White and was heading into town, where off to the outskirts laid either abandoned or wrecked houses that used to belong to the White Clan, Vesica Piscis, now known as the Colorless Clan.

A scowl had taken over her usually innocent-looking face as she halted her steps in the middle of the town square, glaring at everyone around her even when they were innocent and the problem was her awful memory. Cursing herself, she shoved her head into her hands and stormed over to the fountain. If there was no ice, she was going to make some.

By just sitting down at the edge of the fountain, the water immediately froze. Freezing on the spot, literally. She didn't mind the shocked stares, she just needed something familiar, at least. And freezing a fountain was just plain normal in Frostbite territory.

(( AYE ))

The water frozen behind them. Suu glanced back. There was a girl. "Don't go freezing things around." He muttered, placing a hand on the ice, melting it so the water could return back to it's original flowing style.

"Shut up," Audrey snapped back, not bothering to even glance at the voice's owner. "I freeze whatever I like. You melt it if you want," she scoffed, straightening up and holding out her left palm in front of her. She tapped Shard's tip onto her palm and a bird formed in it. She blew at its head and a cold stream of air left her lips, springing the bird with life. Flapping its wings a little, it took flight as Audrey ordered it to locate the Silver Clan.

Only did she turn to the voice's owner to glare. She didn't realize who he was, although he was the very famous Suu.

Suu wasn't in the violent mood luckily. "My.. Someone is grumpy today." He muttered, crossing his arms as he leaned back, his eyes sparking with red aura. He had seen this girl several times when he had visited Frostbite's King. That young guy.. Was about ten years below Suu.

Nezumi looked at Suu's hand, "Suu-chan...your juice..." he said, gesturing to the melting can.

"Great." Suu sighed, setting it down beside him. No use undoing it anymore. He somehow started to get agitated, as Ice always annoyed him. The colour was a mix of Scepter 4's colour.. HOMRA despised the blue clan.

message 23: by Izzy, The Purple King (new)

Izzy (goodreadscomizzy) | 90 comments Mod
Nezumi stood up, "Do you want another one?" he asked, then went over to a vending machine and got more cans of juice. He brought back 4, giving 2 to Suu. "There, just in case you end up burning one of them."

message 24: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) "Pffft," Audrey smirked at the stranger. He looked a little familiar, and something in her gut told her she wasn't supposed to mess with him. Fine, for the sake of Frostbite's non-violent reputation, she thought as she stood. "I have no time to waste, Fire Man," she said, waving him off as she turned away to follow her ice bird in the sky. "I've got somethings to do much more important than settling your temper," she called back before vanishing into the crowd.

Only did she find herself at the Silver Clan's front door did she realize exactly who she just snapped at: was that the king of HOMRA? She was doomed if he was. But just like always, she was doomed before anything started anyway. Sighing, she knocked on the door, and entered to deliver the news of the Colorless Clan's suspected moves. Given two days and how fast rumors spread, the whole Town and almost all the remaining Clans would hear about the Colorless Clan.

Maybe you ought to apologize by warning him too. The White Clan was never on good ends with the HOMRA.

Suu nodded but just set the cans beside him, in case he might accidentally burn it. He closed his eyes, leaning back. There seemed to be nothing to do, he didn't really feel like doing what Kusanagi told him to do.

Hearing Audrey's words, Suu sighed and shrugged. His anger was surprisingly low, compared to when he caught sight of either his enemy, etc. The enemy he got angry at easily would be the Colourless. In a way, they had set his brother up and he ended up dead.. If the Colourless King tried to possess him, Suu would kill him. One way or another.

(( Herro? ))

message 27: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) Audrey shoved her way through the crowd and was thankful to see the two HOMRA still there. She stalked over, still not so happy with the Red Clan's King. They were fire and she was ice, after all. She stopped a few feet away from them, not that close, but not so far they could miss her.

She crossed her arms and sighed in submission. "I'm sorry," she breathed, apologizing to a HOMRA member for the first time. The other times, she just knocked them out. "I shouldn't have snapped at you and all that," she added, waving her hand to signify she actually didn't care about whatever she did besides the snapping. "But you probably need to know this about the Colorless Clan if you haven't already known," she said quickly, to jump to the point instead of beating around the bush. Or fountain, in this case.

"The Colorless Clan is about to attack either the Silver Clan or us, Frostbite. So you better watch out too, since if they pass you and decide to burn you down with your own fire, you'd best be prepared for it."

message 28: by Holt, You were the best King we could've asked for.. (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 492 comments Mod
"I know." Suu uttered two words, his eyes closed like he gave no care to the world, or the warning. However inside, it was the opposite. He cared, and the warning from the girl just confirmed one of his assumptions. HOMRA would be attacked one day. The way they could survive: Kill him. Kill him and whoever had possessed him together in his body.

message 29: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) "Good," Audrey said, turning on her heel to return back home. But she stopped awkwardly when she was just about to vanish among the masses of sweaty and hurried people. She glanced over her shoulder at his care-free look. Somehow it reminded her of her own King, Frost. But just that Frost was much younger than the other Kings, like the Blue Clan's King. "You know, if you really need help," she said softly, she was doubtful that he even heard her, "We're right over there in that freezing dessert where you can freeze your butt off. Just call us, alright? We're the last Clans, we can't end up like the other thirty-six."

With that, she turned and vanished once again. Her words left hanging.

message 30: by Holt, You were the best King we could've asked for.. (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 492 comments Mod
At her words which were.. literally hanging.. You could see some frost where she had left. In the frost, the words, We're the last Clans, we can't end up like the other thirty-six, were seen for a moment before they disappeared. Suu's eyes opened, and he murmured to himself, "Last Clans.. Things have changed." He stood up and looked at Nezumi. "Nezumi, I need to leave for now. See you." Then he disappeared into the crowd, leaving the two cans of juice at the fountain with Nezumi.

Nezumi watched Suu leave, "Oh...okay..." he waved a bit, "See you later Suu-chan!" he called and looked at the cans of juice.

message 32: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) Did he feel good? Noooooooooo. He lost to Frost, after all. He lost, then retreated. What a fool he was. Orchestra Demi scowled at himself, strolling down into town, where he possessed the minds of the ones around him to turn away and forget about him. Being the Colorless Clan King meant that everybody feared you, and that if they saw a tall nineteen-year-old boy with long, white hair in white clothes, they had to immediately report to Scepter 4, the Police Force. It was sometimes very, very, troublesome to be a renown villain in the Land.

To take his mind off his defeat, Demi opened up his Telepathy freely, welcoming the huge swarm of thoughts, prayers, curses and everything that went on in a civilian's mind into his own. Grocery lists, Math problems, business meetings, 'oh-man-I'm-late's, bargains... It didn't bother him to have so many thoughts that weren't his in his head. He didn't feel uncomfortable, he was used to foreign thoughts. Shizumi-ka was there to be thanked for.

In the midst of the swarming crowds stood a boy with a massive snake that slithered on the ground beside him. They were causing people to flee; causing mass panic at the sight of the snake. Doku no Hebi rested his hand on his friend's head, longing to hear his pet's voice. Around him, people had their thoughts entering his mind.. None really caught his attention except one.

One thought stood out from all. Had Doku been able to open his right eye, it would have been wide open, but unfortunately, due to someone, his eye was permanently disabled, rendering him into a one eyed boy. His senses picked up everything, and he noticed that.. He was here. Doku stiffened and looked ahead, his eye catching the sight of the Colourless King.

message 34: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) How far could it be? Is it just me, or is the road stretching longer and longer the further I go? wondered Demi as he started hearing screams in the real world, Maybe I'm walking in circles. Maybe I'm not. I'm pretty sure I'm not since I haven't seen that snake for a very long time. Through the mass of screaming and hysterical people stood a familiar looking boy, a hand on the large purple snake's head.

Isn't that... he narrowed his eyes at the boy...too familiar...it felt as if Demi took something really important from the boy... Then he remembered it all at once. Oh yes, wasn't it Erik, the boy whose right eye was stabbed out by the Colorless King? Demi would have been very excited to meet someone like Doku no Hebi once again after ripping his right eye out, but... Frost's victory over him was dulling Vesica Piscis' King.

"It's him, Cubellios." Doku muttered, and the snake hissed in agreement and agitation. His friend could understand him but he couldn't understand his friend. But one day he would.. Get out of the way! There's a huge snake! Zoo officers are on their way! A thought entered his head and he sighed in annoyance. Since when was Cubellios small enough to be a zoo animal? Never.

"Come, Cubellios." Doku started to walk away, not eager to face the man who had stolen his eye out. His snake let out an ear splitting hiss that made everyone within vicinity clutch their ears in pain. Well.. everyone besides Doku, who rather found the hiss soothing. However a thought from Demi entered his mind. Something about losing to another clan's King. Losing? Did the Colourless King ever lose? Apparently he just did. The idea of Demi losing made Doku smile just the slightest.

message 36: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) Shut up, Erick, the thought was directed into Doku's head from Demi, who heard that thought as he turned to the opposite direction Doku was headed, everyone around him suddenly falling quiet and scuttling away silently. He didn't like the idea of him losing, and he tried to convince himself Frost hadn't really won yet, but failed to.

It was the miserable truth. Orchestra Demi was a fool and the other Clans were right, blah blah blah. But Demi swore he was a fool that would rip those Clans down no matter what, even if he died doing so. He wanted revenge for every death the other Clans cost. The wars before he even turned old enough to speak killed so many of his family, he was probably the only one left. The other Clans might have suffered their share, too, but the White Clan suffered the most. Killed because all lies and wars were thought to be of their cause. Telepathy and Possession powers did that to one.

message 37: by Holt, You were the best King we could've asked for.. (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 492 comments Mod
Doku stiffened, his eye flashing with anger and irritation. Only one person knew his true name.. Orchestra Demi. Demi's thoughts continued to pour into Doku's mind and he broke out into a small grin. Was the King falling into sorrow just because of a small defeat? It amused him to think of it that way.

Feeling down much, Orchestra? He returned back, already walking away.

message 38: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) At least I don't get scared when someone knows my name, Demi replied, smirking as well. He didn't understand the fret Doku had whenever someone mentioned "Erick", but if felt good to make him irritated. What's the use of having a name if no one uses it? he scoffed, it totally defeated the purpose of names. And what was so scary about a name when it was just a word to differentiate someone from another? Erick didn't sound half as bad as Orchestra Demi, and yet Demi wasn't afraid of his name while Mr. Snake was.

Is your snake scared of its name; Cubellious? I don't think it is, Demi added, gesturing over his shoulder and the large purple snake. What a puny master you are, I wonder why hasn't it eaten you yet.

message 39: by Holt, You were the best King we could've asked for.. (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 492 comments Mod
I am not scared! Doku hissed right into Demi's mind like his snake frequently did. Cubellios hissed too, with equal ferocity as Doku used. Having a name like Erik usually earned people the thought of a sweet and kind boy but in reality.. Doku was anything but sweet and kind. Deep down with Cubellios he had another side that was rarely seen. The side where he was Erik; kind and sweet though it was only for his snake to see.

Hearing Demi's last words, it stung him rather badly. Doku never considered himself as a master to Cubellios.. More like a friend. Cubellios hissed again, causing another wave of panic as she rose up, about to use a wave of Poison Mist at Demi. "Steady.." Doku said soothingly, rubbing the snake's scales. Cubellios hissed once more and lowered herself down.

message 40: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) Then you might as well live it up, Demi said, ignoring the ferocity in their hisses, Your name might be a lie, but it's still your name after all. Who knows? Maybe there's this little part in you that's all flowery and sweet all over. He stopped to turn and grin at Doku, taunting him and Cubellios to go ahead and try if they will.

There's a fine line between friends and master to slave. A master to his slave might think of his slave as a friend, but slave to master is completely different. Do you think you know your very own Cubellios? Demi waved his hand between the snake and Doku. You may hear the thoughts of others, including her, but have you ever wondered if those were all just lies she was feeding you? There was a long stretch of silence in which Demi allowed Doku to think over, but soon, he grew irritated of all the hysterical shrieks and cries. "Keep that snake of yours under control, will you? I thought the Purple Clan served as 'heroes', not terrorists."

message 41: by Holt, You were the best King we could've asked for.. (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 492 comments Mod
Doku ignored him the best he could, but replied anyway. There's just a slight problem. I can't hear her thoughts. He turned and began walking as fast as he could away from Demi, or else he could get out of control and accidentally poison some people. "That's what you think about the Clan. You didn't think of one member." He muttered, as Cubellios slithered beside him.

The shrieks had ceased as people just hoped that the massive serpent wouldn't attack them. Cubellios just gave them a glance through her slitted pupils and looked away, following her... Master?

message 42: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) Demi smirked, That makes the mystery more of a mystery, doesn't it? He then turned on his heel and continued walking away from Doku, feeling better now than he was a few minutes before.

------

Audrey headed after Frost into the town square, sad to see most of the stores shutting their doors and the chefs returning home. She sighed and turned to agree with her King that they should go home, too, when she saw his expression. Following his gaze, she saw what he was looking at. She told him they had to worry.

"It's him! I told you!" she whispered urgently, bouncing on her toes. The anger and fury was drained out of her and now she was scared that he might try to take off her arm once again. "What do we do? What do we do?"

"This time, if I tell you to stay back.. Stay back." Frost said sternly, walking on. Demi was also a King. King versus King was normal most of the time. He didn't mind a few looks he got because of his attire - no shoes - and wherever he stepped, frost built up.

message 44: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) "But- But-" Audrey protested, "I'd die anyway if the two of you engage in battle! Won't you try to get help at least?" She grabbed his wrist, trying to pull her King back, but he seemed adamant in confronting the Colorless King, who was still calmly walking away towards God knew where. He either didn't see them or just didn't care. Audrey had the sense it was the latter.

"The Gold Clan is just over there," she cried, trying to force her right hand to point, but she couldn't. Frost was smart enough to know what she was talking about anyway. "Please, you might hurt innocents, too!" she pleaded, trying tug him away. "It's not just about you and him, you know!"

"I'm not thinking of starting a fight." Frost assured her calmly, determined to try and get Demi to talk for a moment. He wanted to confront his..... Old friend, and even his own member wouldn't stop him. Gently removing her hand from his wrist he continued walking.

message 46: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) "Hey, hey, hey!" she said, following him and trying to convince him to the very last second. They were picking up on Demi already, and she was now sure he knew they were here. Two Frostbite members were enough to set a different temperature.

And she was right. Demi knew Frost was coming, but he didn't care. He continued walking on calmly, not bothering to even glance over his shoulder. If a talk was what Frost wanted, he wasn't giving it to him.

message 47: by Holt, You were the best King we could've asked for.. (new)

Holt (tnkphk) | 492 comments Mod
Frost knew.. Used to know Demi like ice, meaning he was familiar and he knew about Demi. Until Demi turned evil, they had always been able to has a small conversation. Frost just calmly followed Demi; it didn't matter if the King would stop or not. He didn't really care. Other Kings said there was no hope left in Demi but he believed otherwise. He was certain he could at least find a small part in the Colourless king that proved he was still the same old Demi deep down.

message 48: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) "He's not going to change," Audrey said softly. Stopping in the middle of the street after chasing Frost down and trying to persuade him to leave. Frost wasn't going to listen to her, but she'd say it like the other Kings--even Daika--had said. "He's gone. He's not the White King anymore. He's Colorless now. There's no hope in him coming back," she continued. "Please... Please just give him up... Please..." she begged.

Demi didn't want to hear what the little girl had to say about him. She'd been yelling curses about the Colorless King ever since they reach the Town Square. He didn't blame her, it must have hurt to have your own arm sliced off. Looked like Daika spared his leisure for her, to give her her arm back. The only reason why Daika would do that, as far as Demi knew the Gold King, was because Frost was there.

Demi and Frost were the best friends back then in the forgotten past, and although Frost didn't know Daika as well, he was a great friend of Demi's too. The White and Gold Clan were close allies, and their territories were nearly mixed. Demi would wake up every morning to see his bedroom window broken and a stone on his bedroom floor, thrown by Daika, of course. That was the first interaction they made, Demi and Daika striking a deal that if Daika could wake up Demi every morning, Demi would treat Daika to HOMRA-style ramen as breakfast.

Until Demi sliced off Daika's leg and Daika nearly took off Demi's arm. They said they forgave each other, but Demi could hear Daika's thoughts. So he knew Daika hated him a little. But now, Daika must have hated him too much to be true. Demi betrayed him by burning down half of Hale Federation's buildings. One of them the old hospital. Hundreds of Gold Clan members and innocents died then.

So why, if even Daika gave up on Demi, why would Frost still cling onto hope? Frost was a bigger fool than Demi if he was truly thinking that his old friend still lived in the Colorless King's body.

There were stubborn people.. An there was Frost. He was in a whole new different category than others that consisted of being more stubborn than stubborn, being more determined that war heroes, being even more reckless than a suicide bomber.. And being calmer than a Zen teacher. Frost could maintain his calm expression even during an encounter with a dinosaur. Such was the Frozen King.

Not only did he think the old Demi was still there. He knew, and if he had to freeze Demi and shatter him to get the old guy back he probably would, just to punch him in the face and yell at him before sealing him in ice.

message 50: by alessia (last edited Jan 12, 2014 01:54AM) (new)

alessia (classick) Audrey wanted to reach out, grab Frost's shoulder and pull him back to the Gold Clan's hospital where she could at least find help to detain him but when Demi suddenly stopped and turned around, she froze and shrunk behind Frost.

"What do you want?" Demi asked in a voice that didn't suggest anything. It didn't sound like a question, or statement. It didn't sound angry, irritated, frustrated, sad, calm or even monotone. It just sounded unlike sound, its tone laying somewhere nobody really wanted to find out about. His expression was just like his voice, too. It was nothing, so much of nothing that it wasn't even nothing anymore.
