Rainbow has a way of making each character so likable and unique that is draws you into her stories and you just fall in love.

Love her books! Fangirl and Eleanor&Park are 2 favs that I read in 2013.

rainbow rowell! my favorite of hers is ATTACHMENTS (it was the last book I read of hers and my god but the 90's !!!)

I loved Attachments too! It was so funny and sweet!

I've just finished Fangirl and I'm wondering why I've waited this long to read it. It was perfect.
I really liked writing and the way everything ended.

Anyone else felt empty after (view spoiler)[ the ending of E&P?? What do you think the words were? Does anyone feel like another book about them is needed? (hide spoiler)] I just loved E&P.

Jana - I love Rainbow but I think she def. needs to work on her endings. I thought the endings of both E & P and Fangirl were kind of rushed and def. not the best parts of the books. I still love her though!

To be honest, I didn't really like Eleanor & Park. While I felt it was well-written, it just made me sad most of the time. If it weren't for the ending (view spoiler)[ when she and her family finally get away from Ritchie (hide spoiler)] I would have regretted reading it. I had a hard time with Eleanor's attitude in general and her home situation and the way E & P's love was portrayed - it was just too sappy for me. I did enjoy the last 10th or so(view spoiler)[after she decides to leave (hide spoiler)], though I can understand why many people felt it was too open. I guess you could say I'm torn - 2.5 stars. (I just finished this book yesterday, so I'm still processing my feelings.)

If there really is a sequel, however, I do want to read it since I'm curious about what happens with her and her family and Park.

But I LOVED, loved, loved Attachments - 5 stars!

For those of you that have read FanGirl or Landline, do you think either or those are similar to E&P or Attachments? Or are they something entirely their own?

I would say they're entirely on their own. I haven't read Landline yet, but I've read all three of her others I loved them all, but they're all pretty unique.
