Read Scotland 2014 discussion

Have just read "Truth Lies Bleeding", the first DI Brennan book so far, but will definitely be reading more. Very dark crime story showing the not so pleasant side of Edinburgh with great characters, very authentic dialogue and some clever twists in the story.

Thanks for highlighting this one. I read but I wouldn't say I enjoyed it, though it kept me hooked to the end. Great characterisation of Devlin, Barry and Vee. Not sure if I will read another just yet, maybe later in the year.

Well done for persevering and reading out of your comfort zone.

Enjoyed the first book but just finished the follow up and that was a bit of a letdown.
