I loved Scooby-Doo as a kid...around that same age, too.
Oh, Bratz. I never did like them; I always preferred Barbie because I had a problem with the Bratz dolls' big lips, lol.
High School Musical was fun.

Haha, same here, minus that last part.

Im proud to say I never fell into those big things everyone loved like High School Musical, or like Narnian said earlier, Twilight.
Haha. High School Musical wasn't all that bad. I only saw the first one, and that feels like forever ago. It had to be at least seven years ago...
High School Musical was just... cheesy. It's for the middle school crowd, I loved it then but I don't really return to it now. Although, sometimes I do put on some of the songs since I liked the music. But sometimes the characters could get annoying, especially Sharpay *rolls eyes*
Princess Dee wrote: "Haha, I think Sharpay was meant to be annoying. She was sort of the antagonist, wasn't she?"
Right, mainly in the first and second movie, and then for the first half of the third movie. She was at her worst in the second, when she tried to manipulate Troy away from Gabriella. I do have to say that whenever she sang with the group, she smiled at them and acted like they got along just fine, but when they weren't singing together they were always enemies. Kind of funny how that worked, but that was high school musical for you.

The High School Musical movies got two star ratings by the critics and Kristen Stewart worn the bad acting award for playing Bella in Twilight. I just mainly got into HSM more for the music than the acting, and I don't think I'll be liking Twilight again. I do respect your opinion though. Certain things aren't for everyone. It would be boring if we were all the same.
I remember when HSM was all the craze. I didn't get into it as much as my friends, but I did like it at the time. I don't hate it or anything now, but it's not something I could sit down and watch completely.
*cough, cough*
The bad acting award? I wonder why...

I completely agree with your last statement. The world would be so incredibly boring.

Even my sister, who is a Twilight fan, also agrees that her acting isn't as great sometimes.

Haha...I can understand your loathing then.

Here's mine:
When I was seven/eight: Lilo and Stitch, Shrek, and Scooby-Doo
When I was twelve: Bratz (I made my parents watch the music videos and movies with me :P)
When I was 12-14 (High School Musical. I learned the dance to "We're all in this together")
When I was 15-17 (The Twilight Saga. Never going to go back to that opinion!
And now, of course, I'm into The Lord of the Rings as my main favorite. Also, Narnia and Calvin and Hobbes.
Now it's your turn. Let's discuss
