Read Scotland 2014 discussion

McIlvanney has penned a lot of books, three of which concern a policeman called Laidlaw, which is also the title of the first in his series. The other two are - The Papers of Tony Veitch and Strange Loyalties.

I've read the first and loved it and will hopefully read the other two this year. All three have been recently republished so should be readily available (in the UK at least.)

Thanks for that - think I may make "Laidlaw" one of my reads for this group this year.
