Camp Jupiter discussion

Rowan pulled her helmet off as she made her way back into camp, having just got off her shift of guarding the entrance tunnel. She waved off her partner who headed back into came as the girl sat by the water, running her hands through her red hair, trying to relieve the head ache she got from wearing the big helmet for too long. She placed her hands in the flowing water of the river before placing them on the back of her neck, hoping to cool down a bit.

Evan walked towards the Little Tiber. The gruelling task of choosing an attack force on his mind. He always thought best at the Little Tiber others went to the temple of Janus to make decisions but Evan found that being at the Little Tiber the river that connected to the Tiber in Rome helped him. He knew that being here where other great roman leaders had once been would help him. He saw a girl a little further down the river and took a quick glance at her. He sat down at the waters edge. He removed his top revealing his toned muscular body and stepped into the water. He dipped his head under and heard whispers in his ears. Voices of naiads and other water spirits sensing his dilemma and advising him. He swam to the bottom of the river and let himself drift of he prayed to his father for help in making his decision. After abut 7 minutes he swam back to the surface. He knew what he must do whether it was crazy or not he needed to do it. He looked around and swam back to the shore and sat on the bank.

Rowan jumped a bit when she heard a splash, one hand going to her sword. one could never be to careful around the naiads. The seemed to like to pick on Rowan a bit, splashing, pulling her in and that short of thing. But there were on good terms...mostly. When they went in one of their moods and got a little to violent. Seeing it wasn't them she sighed again and looked up to see a figure int the water up stream. She watched it drift down and got a bit worried when the person, a man from the figure didn't move. Did the Naiads finally go to far in their little games? But soon the figure swam towards the shore just a few feet from her. When he was stationary she finally recognized him. "Oh, Hello sir." she said giving a bit of a salute, blinking in a bit of surprise.

"Rowan." He said with a nod. "No need to act so formal, unless a god visits then it is formal." He said with a small chuckle and a wink. "Just got off guard duty?" He asked noticing the helmet no one really wore them unless they had guard duty. "How's it look out there?" He asked her. He brushed a hand through his hair.

"I was raised to respect attorney, so excuse old habits." Rowan said softly, her Irish accent making the English words sounds mystic almost. "That's right, just left th' post with Rogers from fourth." She said with a short not. "There's nothin'...visually wrong and it's relativity peaceful. But th' plants and animals seem to be in some sort of tizzy, much like right before a bad storm but there's more to it." She said looking off towards the entrance gate. "But I haven't conversed with any of them 'bout it."

"I completely understand." He said. "Well I won't keep you any longer." He said. He picked up his top and put it on. He was completely dry. "Oh and if you see Rom tell him I said I'm sorry" he said and he made his way out of camp. He knew where he would find the new threat and he knew he needed to gave them alone. He couldn't put Rom or any other campers on the way of this battle of generals. He needed to find out what was going on and put a stop to it alone.

"Hold on a moment there!" Rowan said standing up, leaving her uncomfortable helmet behind. She was fast that was for sure, catching up to him quickly. "We're do you think you be going laddie?" She said crossing her arms a bit as she kept up with him as she followed him from camp. "You can't go on sayin' things like that with out me startin' to worry now." She said, though soft spoken she wasn't one to leave a man behind, or in this case tie his own noose.
