Lost Ice
Audrey Arctic, under her thick and heavy cloak tiptoed across the vast icy landscape. Just her luck, she was caught in a little snowstorm. But all she had to do what get to the entrance, and she would be fine. Grasp tightening around Shard, Audrey summoned an ice shield to block away the annoying ice crystals blown around in the freezing wind. Not to be mistaken, Audrey loved the ice and snow, but it started to annoy her when they knocked her head over and over again.
Soon, she arrived at the edge of the canyon, just about seven yards away from her horizontally, was the tall, and grand castle of Frozen. It was beautiful, with spectacularly patterned frost lacing the stone and ice, to anyone, but welcoming was a different story. To other Clans, this castle was a death trap. To other Clans, this wasn't home.
So pathetic. Audrey couldn't help but think as she bravely set out a foot in mid-air, over the canyon's very edge. She calmly shifted her wait to rest on the foot, and immediately a strong ice slope of her creation started piecing itself up, leading downwards to the castle's entrance. With a glad smile to be home, Audrey crouched down and let herself slide down with full-speed.
Seconds after a chilly way down, Audrey found herself in the entrance chamber, the exit sealing itself behind her, locking the storm away. She sighed with relief and removed her cloak, revealing her in her usual outfit, a long, silky silver dress. It was laced with some frost, and a few ice crystals were caught in the fabric, but it was all fine with the ice-lover Audrey. She headed towards the middle path.
"I can't imagine anyone falling for this," she muttered to herself, stepping into the path. Ice immediately building up to block away her exit. But oh no, she wasn't going to leave anytime soon. She had some interesting news, after all.
[[ I can never match that post. Ever. ]]
Frost was perched upside down on the ceiling of the room, sitting cross legged as he drew intricate ice patterns using his staff end. However he got bored soon and jumped down, the place where he landed immediately spread frost around. Just like his name. The Ice King walked around his place bare footed just like a lot of members, as the cold didn't seem to be minded.
He stretched and rested his body weight on his staff, leaning on it as he stared up at the walls. Deciding to make them interesting, he shot a small burst of ice aura that created spectacular forms of ice and frost on the surface. He liked the pattern. Frost leaned on his staff and closed his eyes, about to doze off when he sensed one member enter.
Only one of his members had certain aura measures which notified him. Audrey Arctic was one of them. Frost pushed off his staff and made his way to welcome her, as she would have some news, he knew. He stopped by the doorway to the 'throne room' - that was what it was called though it really was just a fun room - and waited for her to come his way.

"Ahmmmm, but I'll catch up with you later, alright?" Audrey smiled at the dragon lying in its lair warmly. She then turned away and trotted to the entrance behind its large, resting body. She then entered the fake city chamber where a wide ice dessert separated her from the city illusion. She rolled her eyes, this one was always the bore, she needed to spit out some news about the Colorless Clan, seriously. And this, the ice was surprisingly hard to break if you didn't run a few yards first. But after a little training with the Blue Clan since leaving the castle months ago, she was stronger. Maybe she could break that stubbornly tough surface now. She stepped onto the ice, untethered by the illusion that made it seem thin. She then raised Shard high into the air after abandoning her cloak on the ground beside her. Ice started to form on Shard's butt, and it soon grew into a large and sharp spike. Then Audrey brought it crashing down.
CRACK.
She went tumbling into the void below that you just had to go through before the illusions wore off and you found yourself at the castle's true entrance. It felt like a whole minute of wondering whether she was ever going to retrieve her cloak, when in actual time, was five seconds. Then she jolted out of the darkness, greeted by a nasty beam of sunlight directed into her eyes. She squeezed them shut as she pulled herself to her feet. Just great. The storm had to wait until she was inside for it to end. Ha, ha, very funny, weather.
But at least, she finally broke the ice! It was worth abandoning her cloak for. Anyway, she was going to get another one. Or just make one out of ice. Ah ha, that would be fancy.
Gathering her senses back, she sprinted off towards the "throne room", yours ever so seriously. The thought made her laugh. She knew her King enough to know that it was nothing more than a fun room to him. To get over with the stairs quickly, Audrey slid her boots off her feet and allowed a pillar of ice to shoot out of the skin of each her feet. There. She defeated the stairs. Ah ha. Could the King do that? Silly you, of course he can, Audrey. what are you thinking?
She skipped blindly towards the throne room's large ice doors, still peering over her shoulder and mentally yelling insults at the stairs and bragging that she saved her precious ten minutes. But she had yet to defeat the King himself, which was her goal. To surpass the grand Ki-
BANG. She was encountering with many loud noises today.
Stumbling backwards, she shook her head, clearing her thoughts to stare at whatever she collided in.
There was the King himself, leaning against his staff. The staff that was way out of Shard's league...She really had a long way to go before she could surpass the King. He was the King after all.
Audrey had no time to gape after chatting with the dragon back then, though. She quickly straightened up and bowed respectfully. "My Lord," she said in greeting before she rose. She then continued to her main purpose for traveling to the Blue Clan's territory, "The Blue Clan wishes to report some suspicious inactivity to you." She paused for the dramatic of it before emphasizing, "They suspect that we're the next target of Vesica Piscis, the Colorless Clan."
Frost at the time while waiting had dozed off standing upright, a trick he had learned to fool some opponents when he was bored. However the collision had woken him slightly and he opened an eye, leaning on his staff like it was a pillar beside him.
"The Colourless again?" Frost sighed, because honestly.. How many clans had already been targeted? Frostbite had been targeted by the Colourless for quite some time.. It was impossible for a member of the Colourless to get through the challenges easily, unless they were geniuses who would..
"They could get through by possessing one of our members." He realised and asked her quickly. "Which of our members are out today?" If one was possessed.. If that possessed member went into the throne room... If he was possessed, perhaps.. Frostbite could end.
But maybe the Colourless had forgotten something? Frost was rather difficult to possess, what with his messed up thoughts about ice, the cold, and he also knew that some mind possessing tricks wouldn't work too well in cold areas. They tended to reflect off the signals, and ice was reflective, wasn't it? Frostbite could have been at an advantage.

"They haven't been attacking anyone lately, and the last time they did, it was about eleven months ago," Audrey replied to her King's tired sigh. She didn't want to add anything about the Jade Clan, which was yet another Clan brought to their graves by the Colorless. The Jade may have been nearly non-existent and small, but the Jade were strong. Very strong with their transformation powers. "So the Blue Clan suspects they're planning something. You know their King, he's impatient and can't stand a month without bringing a Clan down," she continued. She didn't mention the Colorless King by his name, since the Clan Kings were close and when the Colorless King turned for the worst, it must have hurt them. A lot. She folded her hands behind her back as her King came to a realization. Possession was one of the hardest spells to counter. And the Colorless Clan was just too good with it. The ice might reflect their spells just like mirrors, but the Colorless Clan were smart. They knew just how to fire and where to hit. Frostbite couldn't let its guard down, Audrey thought.
"I just got back," she notified her King, "But our Guard--the dragon--told me that one of the council members left a few days ago and hasn't come back." She peered over his shoulder and into the Throne Room, where the council members were standing and discussing something. Sure enough, one of them was missing. The one she hated. "It's Sir Hail," she muttered, turning back to her King.
Wait.
Sir Hail?
The man who constructed and planned out the entire castle and its defenses including the Obstacles?
"They know just where to hit, don't they?"
(( I feel very depressed.. *sigh* ))
"He might be able to lead them through, but I can change the Obstacles." Frost said, a thoughtfully expression on his face as he pushed of his staff and placed one end on his shoulder as he he'd the other end, heading towards the ice lake.

{It's alright...} Audrey trotted after him. "But it could be any day now, how long will it take to change the obstacles?" she asked, growing panicky. She'd broke down in many panic attacks on her way home from the town where the Blue Clan had news for them. It was surely going to take long, especially to destroy the old ones and setting up new ones. If they didn't make the obstacles strong enough, the Colorless could just storm through.
"Do you think...?" she wondered, looking around from left to right as they started down the stairs. The higher floors where less occupied than the lower ones, since they were for the higher rankings. Or maybe no one wanted to deal with the winding stairs. She felt like a traitor just looking around at everyone's faces as she and her King passed. Any of them could be possessed already. Any of them could be a Colorless Clan member himself.
(( Yeah.. T^T ))
"I can't stand being so slow." Frost said in agitation and leaped over the side of the stairs, controlling the wind around him to enable him to fly, heading straight for the lake quickly. To answer her first question, he replied, "It will take about an hour without any delays.", before he then flew on, riding his staff like it was a hoverboard.

Audrey flung herself over the thin iron railing as well, dropping down a few floors before a smaller ice bridge shot out from one of the walls. It raced after Frost, Audrey 'chasing' its tip on it, as pillars connected with its base as meters went by. "AN HOUR?" she cried out in surprise. It took Sir Hail and a dozen others a week if not more to build the obstacles. Maybe her King was much more powerful than she thought he'd be.
Finally, they arrived at the building in which Audrey found herself in when she awoke. All they needed to do was burst through the ceiling, and they would find themselves in the lake. And so Audrey did, ordering the ice below her feet to throw her upwards.
It was much easier to get into the lake than to get out of it. She found herself standing in the middle of the frozen lake. Her abandoned cloak to her right and the illusion city to her far right. Frost was already there, not much to her surprise. "What do you plan to do now?" she asked as she hurried over to retrieve her cloak. The hole was already repaired, by the healing ice. But she was sure it was still thin.

"I gave Sir Hail the idea of the Obstacles." Frost said airily, kneeling by the healing ice hole. However before it could fully shut, he pressed a hand on it's thin surface, concentrating. Several magic circles.. or more like frost circles appeared, and the ice momentarily stopped. Frost used the end of his staff and drew a shape before slamming the end of his staff right at the middle of the drawing. The illusion faded and the ice disappeared, only water remained. Hot water. Only those with strong enough Auras could remain on it's surface without falling through to nothing. "A way to cross would be to form your own ice footpath that will melt as soon as you are away from your latest step." Frost said, staying where he was.

Audrey winced at the steam rising from the boiling water. At her feet, ice was rapidly growing, melting, and re-growing over and over. She didn't know how long she could last, but she was sure one day was the least. "What about the guard?" Audrey asked, gesturing behind Frost. Was he going to kill the dragon? If so, she wasn't going to let her friend die like that. "You're not going to kill him, are you?" she demanded, narrowing her eyes at her King. If she was going to fight, she was going to lose. But that was much better than watching Drassi (that was what she nicknamed the dragon) get killed by her own master. She was a fool to think her King would be such a cruel person, but nobody thought the White Clan would turn to Colorless, did they?
"I hat to tell you this..." Frost rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "Drasician (that was the dragon's real name) is linked to me. If I die, Drasician dies. If Drasician dies, a part of my power is lost. The energy I have can be transferred to Drasician when needed." Frost waited for it to sink in. "So in other words.. No, I'm not going to kill him. But he remains where he is, and... If I must, I will stay with him." He added, wondering if he had made the correct choice telling Audrey the news.
"You made the right choice to not kill him," Audrey nodded, turning to stare down at the water she was standing on. It looked like a repeating clip, the ice growing, then shrinking, then growing again. It would have looked boring to others, but for Audrey, this was her ice, and with every spurt of regrowth, the ice naturally seemed to get stronger and spread out a little more. After a long while of fantasizing the Colorless Clan's supposed attack, Audrey raised her head to question the King, "Is this all you're going to change? Are you sure this is enough to hold back the Colorless Clan? For all I know, they might just use Sir Hail to exert out all his Magic to get them across. It doesn't matter to them if he dies before the invasion, they'll kill him afterwards, anyway." She had learned a little bit more about the forsaken Clan with the Special Police Force, who had more information about criminals than normal Clans would have been allowed to without reporting.
She felt a little guilty for questioning the person who had been keeping Frostbite alive for so long, but she just wanted to make sure her little siblings wouldn't be in danger anymore. For goodness sake, she couldn't even return home much for the last few years, with twelve or more Clans being obliterated every year. She hated the Colorless Clan, she hated Vesica Piscis. They used to be one of the most loyal Clans in the whole land. What went wrong with them? They might not have taken Frostbite, but being its target on and off, the Colorless had taken a handful of lives still.
Like Audrey's parents and elder sister. The Colorless Clan forced many young children to go through the worst when they killed their parents. Children died from working too hard as well. Was this the way they worked? Cutting away the other Clans' support so they would die slowly and painfully?
Well, it worked for the pitiful thirty-six Clans that no longer existed when they used to four years ago.
"This might hold them back. With the more ice that forms on its surface, the hotter the water gets. So if Sir Hail is forced to use his power, even at a maximum level there is a chance it can only remain for roughly five seconds before everything melts due to the heat of the water." Frost explained. Sure enough, even the ice that Audrey had formed was melting at a rather fast rate. Frost was sitting on his staff like it was a bench over the waves, rather than planting both his feet on the water.
"They could always use to the Silver Clan's members to help them fly over," Audrey said, jerking her chin at Frost's staff as she shifted her footing while she tried to shake Shard into working like Frost's staff could. But there was a difference between the material of the staff and scepter, so the staff could do things the scepter could not while in turn the scepter could do things the staff could not. Unfortunately, Shard couldn't make use of the cold water vapor to float in the air, so Audrey simply just froze the water vapor above her head to form a bench before heaving herself onto it. It was five feet away from the water, so the heat need a bit more time to travel, but the bench was already melting. "Will the water have any effect on them?" she asked, gesturing up at the sky, "They'll be so high up the heat might not even reach, and what's more, they don't use ice."
"I must admit, I haven't really thought that far yet." Frost murmured, now lying down on his staff as he looked up at the sky. He laced his fingers together and placed them behind his head, and started thinking. "Do you think that the Colourless would go through all that trouble just to take down one clan? I don't really think so. If they would go to the Silver Clan just for the members, why not just take down the Silvers once and for all, before continuing towards Frostbite?" He mused out loud, trying not to muse to much or else he might just go crazy with too much assuming. After all, when one assumes, they make an ass of u and me..
Audrey shrugged, shifting her weight on the ice bench as she thought over his words. "I don't know how the Colorless work, but maybe they have prisoners..." she trailed off, trying to dig up the tiniest silvers of whatever she knew about Colorless Clan workings. She knew, that the White Clan hailed peace, which meant no prisoners on reserve but instant death after they drained the information out of their captives. "Who knows," she said, shrugging yet again. The Colorless Clan was still a huge mystery to the rest of the Clans. Dangerous and vicious, too. "It's hard to predict what they might come with, but maybe you're right, they'll have to attack the Silver Clan first to get over this obstacle." She paused before continuing, "We might not have as close ties to the Silver Clan as to the Blue, but we ought to warn them about this." She eased herself off the bench, ice forming over the water she landed on as she started to walk back to the Frostbite's castle. "I'll just dash over there and give them a heads up."
Frost nodded and used his staff as a hoverboard again to make his way back. The place seemed fairly secure.. He still didn't trust a few members who were whispering in the corners. They kept giving him nervous looks.. Why? They also seemed to be guilty about something. Frost wondered what they had done. A security breach? He frowned, casting the members a glance. One of them stood out though.. He had a twisted smile on his face..
Could the Colourless have already entered Frostbite's headquarters? He hoped not.
Could the Colourless have already entered Frostbite's headquarters? He hoped not.
The ice crunched under his high boots, as the wind shrieked like a thousand banshees. They seemed to be directed right into him, like every bad weather's main attacker always did. Whatever, though, the weather didn't bother him to the slightest bit, his purpose was too filled with amusement. It was about time he reunited with one of his good friends. Or at least they used to be. They used to hang out with each other, complaining about the other Kings' opinions about their youth and such rants. But now, the line and friendship between them was as cold as this freezing canyon itself. He wasn't even sure he was stepping on the canyon's surface or the thousandth layer of ice. Could anyone tell? Did anyone bother? He sighed, his breath making a cloud in front of his face before a vicious wind tore it away. He didn't mind the cruelty of it, he was just as cold.
He stopped at the edge of the canyon, an inch from the steel toes of his boots was vacant air, a distance of void that would hurt after ten seconds of free fall. It seemed intimidating, maybe, especially when the low winds shoved little pebbles of snow over the tip. One lost sight of the pebbles instantly. Was it the wind, or just how the snow looked like the snow it was lying on and the snow behind it, and so forth?
The plainness of snow, it amused him, honestly. There was no freedom, the snow couldn't decide what it wanted to look like, or whether its neighbor would look the same. This was the future he planned for the Land. Peace laid in it, many people failed to see. But he didn't care, he did what was right. And these stupid Clans were getting in his way.
He rolled his eyes and just took a small step off the edge and into the void he observed earlier. He had no control of ice, of course, but then, he had control of a ice-controlling man. Sir Hail awaited at the castle's entrance, bowing as he drifted to the ground on the little ice platform Hail created for him. Hail led him into the castle.
It's been too long, Frost.
(( Long posts.. My heart stopped. ))
Frost sat on his staff, looking at a particular wall he liked. The wall was covered in various patterns of ice and frost, mostly made by members throwing their aura onto it for fun. He could see interesting shapes. He saw a human, an icicle, a snowflake.. And a staff like his.
Suddenly a sense in him tingled and he stopped short, his eyes slowly widening. He's.. here...! Frost stepped off his staff onto the floor. The ice told him many things. Now it was telling him that he was here. He had stepped foot on the castle's floors.
Frost knew one day this would happen.. His old 'friend' would come to visit him. He had a feeling that it wouldnt end well.

It hadn't changed at all! How splendid, it seemed like he didn't need Hail after all. Instead of Hail leading him, he lead Hail into the middle path, stepping into darkness which wasn't even darkness but looked and felt like darkness, and was therefore the perfect example of Subtle Possession. The person being possessed felt like he was in control and looked like he was in control but he wasn't and it was just a lie. Stepping into the next chamber of surprise was the mountain that used to freak him out. Until his friend told him there was nothing to be afraid of and "God, just do it". He did, with Hail following him, he did it, which wasn't supposed to be revealed, since little scandals would scour such tales for answers on how to defeat this obstacle. They weren't in luck and so was Drasician.
Upon entering the third chamber after it, he cam face to face with Drasician. "You," the dragon snarled, rage flaring in its large eyes. But he wasn't about to get afraid, he simply lifted his left hand the the dragon fell into sleep. There, possession in another, completely useful way. Sleep. Strolling around the dragon's asleep body, he found both him and Hail standing at the edge of something he'd never seen before. A boiling lake of water? Funny, so that Reisi did discover his plans. The idea was so hilarious, he laughed out loud. Smirking into the sky like it was Reisi's face. Damn that captain, he thought as he used his Telepathy to order Hail summon a path in the air for him. He didn't feel like talking to such a low life.
Heaving himself onto the path, he sprinted to the other side, the ice already beginning to melt. Just a few feet away from the end, the path completely gave way, but with a somersault and powerful jerk, he found himself falling through yet another piece of void.
And then it was all over and he was standing in the Ice Castle of the Frostbite Clan.
Frost decided to just stay at one of his best places, the ceiling of the 'Throne Room' where there was a window. The best cold air come from there. Plus, Frost didn't feel like meeting his friend. He couldn't make himself invisible, sadly, and could only temporarily block off any mind attempts. Why would you even come here, Colourless King? He thought, not bothering to even use the real name. He didn't know what the purpose was, but wondered one thing.. Would one person from the Colourless Clan bring ruin to Frostbite's headquarters? He hoped not..
His footsteps in the hallway seemed to echo endlessly, since everyone but him was holding his breath. He could read their constant flow of panicked thoughts, wondering why would the Colorless King visit their home. Maybe he wanted to destroy it on his own, maybe he didn't. This was one of the rare things he let go unplanned. Maybe that was a wrong decision. Maybe it didn't matter. The stairs seemed like a bigger obstacle than anything he'd ever seen, but as steep as it was, it was still pathetic. Everything in this castle was. Maybe Frost turned into some pathetic creature, too. Maybe he didn't. Hmm, it would be interesting to see how his good friend had changed. Or maybe he wouldn't get to see his friend at all. If he didn't, then oh well, there was no purpose in keeping this castle then. He'd clean up the pathetic mess up for Frost.
Shoving the Throne Room's doors open, he turned to look up at the ceiling. As expected, there was the Frostbite King, near a little window with cold air bellowing in. He gave Frost a smile, "It's been too long, Frost."
Frost glanced down, then just slid down from the ceiling onto the floor. "State your purpose for coming here." he said calmly, trying to ignore the unease forming in his mind. He paid absolutely no attention to the first words his old friend had said to him after years of not meeting each other. His eyes were just cold, their usual emotion. Frost leaned on his staff like it was a wall, all the while keeping cautious of the King before him. Two Kings in the same room was like keeping a time bomb beside a dynamite in a room full of hostages. You were just waiting for it to explode..
((I'm thinking that because Drasician is asleep, Frost could suddenly X out, due to being linked with the dragon.. X out means suddenly and abruptly fall unconscious... It'd be both strange and surprising. ))
"I need a propose to visit my friend after years? Why, isn't that a little too harsh to come from someone like you?" he asked, his expression holding no sign of hurt, or any memory that they had been friends at all. Everyone would have guessed, from their expressions, that they were life-long enemies. And they might as well be. He spread out his arms, like he was innocent, but didn't approach the Frozen King. He still had that mocking grin on his face, taunting Frost in silence to go ahead and try punch him if he could and if he dared. Behind him, Sir Hail, the weak little mongrel that paid no use to him now, appeared, staring wide-eyed at the two Kings. "Give me a moment," he said, turning around to face his confused, possessed toy. "Thank you, little play thing, you may rest now," he hissed as he unsheathed his katana and grinned cruelly at the old man. He released Hail from possession, but the forty-year-old had barely enough time to collect his bearings before the katana's blade went through his heart without a second wasted.
"There," he said, watching Hail's body go limp and collapse to the floor in a heap. He then turned back to Frost, sheathing back his katana like nothing had happened. "Now it's just the two of us."
Frost watched the death of Sir Hail and felt a small part of his left eye freeze, turning into ice. This was the meaning of being the Frostbite king.. If a member was gone, a part of their body would turn to ice, until gradually they really became the Frozen King. But Frost's case was different. He certainly would freeze up, but unlike the previous Kings, only his eyes would freeze up until they were like his name.. Frost..
"You wouldn't come here just to visit. State your true purpose." He said coldly - literally - and glared at the man in front of him. Though he was younger than most, he was perhaps one of the scariest too.. But the King's connection with Drasician had caught up and his vision turned blurry.
"What did you do, to get past the dragon?" He asked, barely able to keep his eyes open. If he passed out now.. Lost Ice would fall into the Colourless King's hands.

"True purpose?" he repeated, musing it to taunt Frost. "I see what those years have done to you. You're doubting that I would go anywhere without leaving it destroyed, don't you?" He smiled, that plain smile that was clearly not for warmth but for mocking. He was about to go on, but he could sense the Frostbite King sinking into unconsciousness. "Drasician?" he echoed, raising an eyebrow as he watched Frost stumble. He laughed, "How does any of that matter? What if I killed it? What if I stole it? The deaths don't matter just like old Hail's didn't. The facts remain the same." He waited for Frost to look up at him before he smirked and finished, "Lost Ice is mine."
Frost now was leaning heavily on his staff, but even in this state you could sense his anger. Lost Ice would never be The Colourless Clan's property as long as he lived. Would that mean his enemy would also kill him to get the castle?
Linked to the dragon as he was, both felt anger, both were falling unconscious. Frost finally felt himself really pass out and slid to the floor, out cold, literally.

{So Lost Ice is really Colorless for now?}He was victorious now, though he would have loved to fight Frost in combat. Sighing, but still smirking, he walked towards the throne, stepping over Frost's body like it was simply trash. There, no need to waste my brain cells planning for such trivial matters. He allowed himself to flop onto the ice throne like he already owned it.
And yes, he already did. All he needed to do now was possess the entire Frozen Clan, which was easy for him with the help of some Magic rings and runes. Unsheathing his katana that now laid on his lap, he put the tip of the blade on the frost-layered floor at his feet, starting on a large ring of runes that would assist greatly with the possession of an entire Clan. So far, the thirty-six Clans he defeated were lying in the prisons of the Colorless, used as possession toys.
It would be very fine to add Frozen to the list of easily defeated Clans.
After a minute passed, the ring was complete and he folded his hands into each other, closing his eyes to force Magic out of the ring and out of himself, allowing the invisible, colorless aura to roam the castle's hallways, taking every mind and soul that it passed. This wasn't Subtle Possession, but Un-Soul Possession, the type of possession that caused the possessed to go all zombie-like and soulless, unable to control their minds and movements, out could but still moving the way he wanted them to.
Five minutes, and the entire castle would be his. He shouldn't be bragging, but he was Orchestra Demi after all.
Perhaps everyone else had been affected, but Frost was the King. Even though he was passed out, he was slowly waking up. Unnoticed by Demi, he was fully awake on the floor and he pressed his hand to the floor, his aura countering back suddenly at Demi's mind control session. If he was lucky, the possession should have stopped for now, as in.. He had froze the connection between Colourless and Frostbite.
{For now, yeah. Want Audrey to return?} Something's wrong. One second it was perfectly going fine and the next... Everything felt more brittle and cold about Demi's own aura...as if someone just turned it to ice. Ice. Ice...?
Instantly his gaze fell onto Frost, still sprawled on the floor. But his hand...his palm was down now when it was up a minute before. Great, now he's awake. So much for trivial, this situation is getting a little annoying. Despite his irritated thoughts, Demi smirked and said, his words directed at the Frozen King, "Your posture is all wrong, Frost. You won't be able to keep it up for long." He smirked, his aura was being jammed up, but the clog was already starting to fade away. The posture of the Magic-user mattered, especially now, since Frost was in an uncomfortable position. Most of his nerves wouldn't be all concentrated on the aura, but the uncomfortable state his body was in, instead.
Demi probably forgot a fact about Frost. Frost himself was used to uncomfortable positions when he used his magic, and he could hold up for quite some time. He just smirked a little, then said, "Are you sure about that?" And focused his aura to counter the colourless aura. Then setting another hand on the floor to continue the flow, he drew a magic circle using his now free left hand, increasing the value of his aura. Being surrounded by ice, his powers could be backed up.
Heh, they did make a good choice picking him, Demi thought. Well, finally there's someone going to make me sweat a bit. Four years and he's still my clash. He rolled his eyes, that smirk seemingly permanent on his face. "Oh, I forgot, you used to hang from the ceiling while trying to do a split and your paperwork during lunch," he said, recalling himself sitting on the floor, raising an eyebrow at Frost, who was on the ceiling trying to juggle everything, when they were both younger. "It seems like you've been getting better," Demi commented, slouching into the throne more and tapping his finger on one of the arm rests. He looked relaxed, but any mind-reader could see his aura flowing out of him like fire spreading. Well, that's if they could see something entirely colorless in the midst of frost and ice. He has the advantage here, you little fool, he chided at himself, What in the world were you thinking when you just strolled in? You're so awfully stupid and reckless I don't know why you are King.
Demi sighed, and out in the distance, someone sighed too.
----------------------------------------------------------
Audrey sighed, the storm was back. Was it her doing? She was pretty sure it wasn't, there wasn't a snow storm back in the town. Maybe the storm always meant bad news. The last time, she came back just to return back to town. She wondered what was installed for her today. She picked up the pace and dashed towards the castle. She just couldn't wait anymore...
In minutes, she was inside the castle and yes, there was a bad situation. Everyone looked panicked and shock-stricken, all staring worriedly in the throne room's direction. Audrey grabbed a stranger's shoulder and demanded for an explanation. "The-the Co-Co-Color-le-less King!" he stammered before shrieking and racing away.
Oh, no, please let him be lying. Audrey kicked off her boots and ice shot her into the air, steering her into the throne room, pass the wide-open doors. She skidded to a stop and fell to her knees in a totally unladylike way, only to find herself just by her King's side and in front of the Colorless King.
She'd met the White Clan's King before, who was four years older than her and two years older than Frost. He was sarcastic and playful, and a genius, the two Kings were really a pair, goofing around and running from the Blue Clan's Reisi when they caused a little too much trouble.
But she never met the Colorless King once and she never wanted to. Though there he was, sitting on the throne and raising an eyebrow at her with a hand on his katana and the other still tapping the armrest it was laid on.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY CLAN?" she hollered, rage filling her in a rapid rate. He might have done nothing yet, but seeing the horrified and crying faces downstairs was enough damage to her. The Colorless King grinned in reply and that was it, she threw Shard right into his face.
But that was the end of Shard, too. With a swipe of his hand, Demi caught the scepter inches away from his smirking face. He stared at it with amusement before stowing his katana aside and standing. He then brought Shard's body down onto his knee.
Crack, and Shard was in two pieces, filling Audrey with agonizing pain. {I'll just stop here, I think I wrote too much already.}
(( YOU WIN. I CALL YOU THE KING OF ROLEPLAY!! *flees* ))
Frost used the edge of his staff to continue the aura flow. "Coming here was a bad idea and you knew it. Why did you come here?" He asked calmly wen Audrey entered. Upon the destruction of Audrey's weapon, Frost was ready to counterattack with his own staff but thought better of it.
"Audrey, go console some members. I will be fine." He told her, hearing some members had started to go into a hysterical state. His eyes were cold and unforgiving. "Get out of here now." He ordered to both Demi and to Audrey. Demi wise, he meant the colourless King should leave. Audrey wise, he meant she should go outside and help the members.
If his aura wavered the slightest it would endanger his members' minds and lives. The ice around him was starting to really turn the colour of his aura, getting a stronger shade as it continued to form.

{What? No!!! Come back! You can have the title!!! *chases after*}Demi shrugged, ignoring the Audrey when she first entered. "I'm a fool, doesn't that explain everything?" he smirked, "Turning the White to Colorless, I know the things they said about me." In the past, four years ago, when the hatred started building up too rapidly even Frost and the other Kings couldn't calm, Demi turned to evil, bringing his Clan with him. Hearing about this, the Kings first called him a fool, thinking this was yet another one of his jokes.
But then he killed the Pearl Clan and everything wasn't the same again.
---
"Go," ordered her King. But she couldn't just leave him here, not with the Colorless King! This might be where Frost's powers laid, but who knew what the other King had up his sleeve. She shook her head adamantly, "I can't leave you here! What will happen if...if..." She didn't want to say she doubted her King's victory, but all the worry stored in her was demanding that she did doubt it, even if it was just a little.
"I'll fight him with you," she said, turning to glare at the invader as he dropped Shard's pieces to the floor, the noise echoing around. "He's killed my parents! He's killed thirty-six Clans!" she cried, protesting that it was her battle, too, while the Colorless King watched with a little amusement. "It's thirty-seven, Arctic," he interrupted, "You'll see if you live long enough." Audrey glared at him even more intensely, rage shoving aside the piercing pain caused by Shard's destruction.
"THIRTY-SEVEN, THIRTY-SIX, IT'S ALL THE SAME! YOU'RE A KILLER! YOU'RE A MONSTER!" she yelled, all the fury she'd been keeping locked inside of her spilling out. She'd said her dream was to become as powerful as Frost, and better yet, to surpass him. And why? So she could kill the Colorless King.
Kill him, kill him, kill him, the thoughts grew louder and louder, in her head. And before she knew it, Audrey was charging towards Demi, the ache for revenge fueling her. Ice surrounding her right arm, it turned it to a sword. THIS IS FOR MY FRIENDS. THIS IS FOR MY PARENTS. THIS IS FOR ALL THE CLANS YOU DESTROYED!!! Audrey screamed in her mind as she plunged her ice blade towards Demi.
But she should have known. (view spoiler)
If she couldn't beat Frost, what match was she for the Colorless King?
Before the sharp ice could pierce through Demi's heart, there was a slash of silver, gray, white, gray, or black, and Audrey fell to the ground, screaming in pain as tears streamed down her face. Blood was spreading across the floor and Audrey couldn't feel her arm anymore. Where was it? What did he do to it?
"Pathetic," Demi replied to Audrey's blind charge. "What is this? A Frostbite member?" he laughed and turned to Frost. "Your Clan is weak if everybody is like her." He brushed his katana on the back of his cloak, Audrey's blood smearing on the fabric. "You should feel lucky," he said, looking down at the sobbing girl at his feet, "I only took your arm and not your life."
{I'm not sure what I'm going to do next...so...how about Frost goes to Audrey and when he looks back, Demi is gone and Frost needs to get Audrey to the Gold Clan who are healers?}
[[ Alright... You need to make the character though.. ]]
That girl.. Frost had already told her to stay back. To stay out of this. "You've gone too far.." He muttered, going over to his member and used his ice to just clog up the blood, sighing at Audrey. He glanced back, to see his enemy had gone to god knows where.
He touched Audrey's shoulder and then lifted her up in his arms, ice forming at his feet. Then with his staff, he hurried Audrey to the Gold Clan, remembering they were the only ones who could heal the strike of the Colourless King's sword.
(( I'm making a character for the Purple Clan, mind if I use Demi as the key point in his history? ))

{Okay, I'll make the Gold King in a bit. And no, I don't mind. :)}"He sliced my arm off, didn't he?" Audrey screamed in between painful sobs. She knew she was reckless, but being reckless with the Colorless King was a whole new form of stupidity. "Tell me he didn't," she cried, tears flowing down her face even more rapidly now that her rage had died along with her arm and all the pain was coming back. "Tell me he didn't break Shard, tell me he didn't take my arm off with his sword," she sobbed, choking on her own tears as her body trembled. The ice around her shoulder was starting to become red, and although Audrey knew it would hurt harder to look, she looked.
She looked and she regretted it. "It's gone," she whispered, unable to yell anymore. "I'm going to die, now, aren't I?" she asked, her eyes full of regret, "They say the sword is full of poison, and it's-, it's-" She tried to force her words out but her vision was going blurry and her body went numb all over. In a second, she was out cold.
They were halfway when Audrey began to talk. Frost sighed and when she went to sleep, he finally reached and entered, not caring what the people inside thought about him. He was barefoot, messed up, covered in a little of Audrey's blood, one eye that was half ice, or half frozen. "Where is your King?" he asked a member and was directed, and he carried Audrey towards the chamber, all the way balancing both the girl and his staff. Accidentally freezing the floor at every step he took, members of the Gold Clan were whispering -
"Can that be the Frozen King?"
"It's the Staff.."
"The Floor... It's turning to ice!"
"Can that be the Frozen King?"
"It's the Staff.."
"The Floor... It's turning to ice!"
Maybe you shouldn't be trailing behind him like a shadow, Audrey thought when she reached the bottom of the stairs, lagging behind as she watched Frost overcome the steep steps easily. She'd been dragging him down every second of the day while causing much trouble involved around too many Kings all in twenty-four hours. Murmuring a "thanks" softly due to her guilt, Audrey turned around and walked away, the only sound made by her echoing footsteps in the deserted tower. Dark had fell and everybody had returned to their homes already, Audrey might as well return to hers. She didn't know what to say to her neighbor, who would be worried sick seeing that she hadn't came home yet. Could she say that the Colorless King invaded and she got her arm sliced off by him, burdened the greatest doctor in the Land, and still complained mentally that her newly regenerated arm was aching?
Shaking her head, she just tried to ignore the worries, heading off into the night outside.
He sat at the tip, balancing precariously as a cold wind travelled from the roof of the tower to the bottom, creating an eerie whisperer. Unlike his members who had their own houses, Frost didn't have a home. His house was Lost Ice itself and he slept in it's rafters, his back against the cold surface. At night, Lost Ice was very desolate and lonely. Several times Frost had caught some people trying to sneak in, and once, some idiots found him and challenged him to a fight as they 'staked out their territory'. Those idiots were in peace now.
Hajime sighed as he came to the frozen lake, running a hand through his long hair. He had his two katanas on his hip and he was becoming a bit anxious. How long would this last? He was seriouy getting annoyed.

Located somewhere around the edges of the town. By daytime it is a cheerful beautiful sight but at night.. It is altogether a different story. Icicles and ice castles shroud the magnificent building and only those foolish or brave enough to enter may test their willpower and strength against those obstacles. Care to try?

This is the first obstacle of all. The entrance itself is a puzzle. Upon entering the Ice Challenges, the doorway behind you solidifies into an eerie ice colour. Frost starts to build up on the ground.. There is no way out but to pass, you must choose one path from three. Will you head to the bright comforting side, or to the unknown dark void in the middle.. Or even so, the shadowy last option? Choose wisely. Things aren't what they seem to look.. Here's a hint: The correct path is nowhere.. Or is it?
2nd
Congratulations, you have made it past the first section. As soon as you crawl through the path you chose, it sealed behind you and no amount of banging or beating would weaken it. You are a lucky person. Not many have stayed sane enough to continue. Most have died trying. What's that? You didn't see the bones? Of course you didn't, silly human. The Ice devoured it all.. Back to the subject. The second challenge.. You appear to have come face to face with another mountain. Will this mountain seal your fate or lead you to the glorious Ice Castle? Enter at risk. Remember, there is no turning back.
3rd
Ah, it appears you have walked into the lair of a dragon. Tsk, tsk.. You didn't watch where you went.. As usual, as soon as you enter the entrance seals up and you are trapped with a sleeping beast. You must make your way through the ice bits and ice coins on the slippery floor to the other side where yet another challenge awaits. Did I mention you are not permitted to wake the dragon? Be careful.. He's a light sleeper.

Surprisingly, you start see a cluster of civilisation ahead. A mountain... No, an Ice Mountain with several buildings and houses and cottages scattered about. Eager to find some human company, you begin to run yet stop by the edge of a frozen lake. Excited, you slowly and cautiously make your way through. Your heart is pounding, your breath is misty in the cold air. Every step seems a torture.. At last, the other side is coming into view when.... CRACK.
5th
You are now fed up, and feel like giving whoever designed the challenges a punch in the face. However you erase that thought as you see the Ice Castle doors open before you. A voice sounds and tells you that you must face the Ice King.. If he deems you worthy, he will accept you into Frostbite. First you wonder what Frostbite is. Nevertheless you hurry on to see him. Will you survive the encounter? If he does not deem you worthy, he will merely allow you to recover for a night only, then will send you back the way you came which means through the maze once more.
YET, TO YOUR SURPRISE, THE KING.. IS A YOUNG TEENAGER WITH A VERY HARMLESS APPEARANCE..
