Struggling Writers discussion

First off, if you don't know what the A-Z Challenge is, head over to this thread first: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Once you've read up or are a recurring participant from our Fall/Winter 2013 A-Z Challenge...well, welcome to our 2014 Spring/Summer A-Z Challenge!

If you're interested in participating, just drop a comment down below. One of your moderators (Ingrid, Irene, Laura, Tara or myself) will make your scoreboard thread in this folder for you. Please don't go ahead and do it yourself!

Once your scoreboard is made, we suggest going to that thread and posting an alphabet list. (If you're a recurring participant, you'll know what that means. If not, here's an example:

A-The Almighty by Unknown
B-The Babysitter's Club by Unknown
C-The Catcher in the Rye)

And so forth. It's great at helping you keep track.

This 2014 A-Z Challenge begins on January 1st, 2014, and ends on June 30th, 2014.

After June 30th, all of the scoreboards will be examined by the judges (your moderators), verified, and then deleted. We will then be posting a leaderboard where we will show the scores of all of the participants. The participant who read closest to all 26 books will be featured in our Struggling Writers Newsletter!

Now, who would like to sign up? (: (Oh, and one of us moderators will reply back to you in this thread when your folder is made!)

There is no deadline to join this challenge! You can start at any time while the challenge is going on. However, just use your best judgement--if you sign up in late April, it would be very difficult to finish reading all 26 books by June. It's up to you and what you think you can handle!

You are quite welcome! We suggest that you make a post with all the letters of the alphabet in it that you edit so you can keep track easier.

Do you have to read them in order A-Z or can it be any order?

Does novellas or short stories count towards the goal? Or does it have to be only novels?
