Vamps with Bite discussion

I think Zoey is awesome. Personally, she reminds me a lot of myself. She seems sacastic, resonable, and mature. She can at times be annoying though with all the "Ohmygod" and the "Crap Crap Crap". I can see why some think she is a whore though. I really don't think she is though. Yeah, she is having a lot of boy troubles and she doesn't do anything to make them better but you sometimes have REALLY put yourself in the characters shoes to understand.

just my opinion though. lol

I think Zoey is pretty cool. I still think she made REALLY bad choices with Loren. Poor Eric. Eric was nothing but nice to her, seriously. But I do feel sorry for her. ANd Heath.

I like how in the last fifth book though she likes Stark. It just seems like they belong together. lol

I like Zoey, she cool, but her bf/boy choices are kinda poor...
(Loren was a horrible decision!)

not even the same species anymore!)
-Just stop it with Erik, he's starting to turn
out a bit of a jerk
-She should totally be with Stark!!!!

But that's just my opinion...

I just read Chosen so I don't know anything about Stark but here's what I think:

-Loren- She should've just left him alone to begin with, she already had two boyfriends

-Erik- YES. I think Erik is so sweet and he was really hurt when he found her with Loren. But he kinda understood when he learned about Neferet.

-Heath- poor Heath :( He should've left her alone in the beginning, yes. But still. He really did care for her even if he was immature.

Loren- He sucks and was a horable choice and i know it sounds mean but im sorta glad he died
Erik- Way to pushy and is really making me mad, ya he was sweet to begin with but now (i've finished the 5th book) is a pushy jerk
Heath- i love him, he is super sweet but i dont really think him and Z should be together, come on, different species, and that would be WAY to diffacult for Z, with the whole blood thing.
Stark- he is sweet but im not sure if they should be together, he almost killed Stevie Ray and made Kalona rise, it wasn't really his falt though,
if i had to choose i would say that she should be with Stark though

Heath can be so immature I mean he basically forced Zoey to be with him by cutting himself because he knew she couldn't resist the blood.

Loren: um, HELLO, what happened there??

Eric: He was sweet, but in the fifth book, he became possesive and a real jerk. Kinda like all he wants from her is sex. go figure.

Heath: his luck really sucks. i thought that earlier on she should be with him because they really loved each other. know, though, he keeps coming back to her like a lost dog. it's really sad.

stark: i think him and zoey are an excellent match. we don't know much about him though.....

Kalona: what I really want to know is, why in the world is zoey even attracted to him? i mean, she already has enough guys that aren't trying to take over the world and all.

I CAN'T DECIDE. I LOVED THE SERIES THOUGH AND HOW IT ENDED. I THINK I ALWAYS THOUGHT SHE SHOULD END UP WITH ERIC THOUGH

Well, I'll stand over in the corner by myself because I can't stand Zoey. I read the series in spite of her, secretly hoping something horrible will happen and her friends and harem of men will wake up and see her as I do. Why don't I like her? I find the character to be narrow minded and judgmental, while at the same time trying to portray herself as worldly and accepting. I refuse to write it off as her simply being a teen, as YA protagonists in other series are done so much better. Again though, I like the other characters and the overall story line enough that I keep reading.

uhhh zoey gets on my nerves a lot with the fact that she can't choose a freaking guy ! she just keeps stringing them all arounddd. don't get me wrong, i love the series i just wish she'd choose a guy already, preferably Erik ! =D

i agree! erik would be perfect for her. he only left because of loren, who was wooing her on what's-her-names orders.

Stark is the best!! then erik then heath...or heath then erik....idk!

personally, i hate zoey

she can't make decisions on guys so she leaves them all hanging. (at this point, im like, "Zoey! the only solution now that you have 6 potential boyfriends is group sex! Have fun!")

her whole "im not a slut, oh wait, that was kinda slutty of me, whoops." thing is annoying. i mean, she's like omg, aphrodite's such a slut for trying to give erik a blow job! then she goes and sleeps with a teacher!? i mean, COME ON!

and anyone who is "the chosen one" needs to get hit in the head (like harry in half-blood prince) or personally, i think zoey deserves a nice b**ch slap

I love the series as a whole, I don't mind Zoey altho most times she gets on my nerves! I personally love all the other kids in the book, especially Stevie Ray, even tho I can't quite figure out if she is good or evil just yet. And Damian and the twins are a crack up! I even started warming up to Aphrodite even tho I totally hated her at first.....

yeah. one major conflict for me is figuring out if stevie rae can be trusted and held to her word. the tempeted cover was released and it hinted that she is hiding something bad. lol

I know I can hardly wait for it to come out! Problem is I read the book too fast and then have to wait SO long for the next one to come out LOL

that's my problem too. all five books have been smashed together for me so i couldn't tell when exactly an event happened. and i forget who knows what in the books. lol

I think if we look honestly at our high school lives, we'll find that all of us were kind of Zoey-like. Sometimes, it's irritating that the storyline has so much to do with the boys, but indecisiveness is standard in teenage girls about boys.

I love Zoey's character for the most part. I get irritated because she's so hoochie sometimes, but at the same time that's probably another reason I can't put the books down. I can't wait to see what happens next and who she ends up with.

I know everyone disagree's but I still like Erik.

I think Zoey is halarious when she's going out with 3 guys! I like her because she does things that I would never do and she makes me LOL!

alas, i take novels too seriously for that

if she was a side character, i probably would've thought her hilarious too, but she's a main character so i just think of her as pathetic.

I have only read Marked, but, thus far, Zoey has not captivated me. I think she is a little pathetic and way too boy crazy for my taste. But, because of my love of all things vampire, I'll continue to read this series and give Zoey a chance.
