((I'll put up pictures later))

Cameron used his back to open the front door, which was always unlocked, soon to find himself in the entrance. A set up stairs curled around in front of them with two rooms to either side. Fortunatly, it all looked clean. Which only happened once a month or whenever one of them decided it was time to make the place look presentable. Luck seemed to be in his favor tonight. Picture's hung all over the walls, each of them filled with family members from years and years ago up until recently. The rooms were all neatly designs as if from a magazine. He rushed her into a room with a few couches and large television.

Gently, he laid her down across the couch. The first priority was her wound and well, keeping her awake. In quick strides he left the room for only a few moments, to grab the first aid kit. It always was under the kitchen counter. He entered the kitchen and began to search for the kit. Instead, he found a small note written to him from Macey. Shoving it in his pocket, he decided he had more pressing matters on his hands. Finally he recovered the kit and could return to Winnie's side.

She looked terrible. "How does it feel?" Cameron asked it quietly, not wanting to make it worst. Of course the question was a stupid one. But it just might keep her from fainting, which was all he needed. As he waited for an answer, he went through the box for the proper supplies.

Heat spread through Winnie's forehead, despite the fact that she looked rather pale. It felt like she had a fever, which of course wasn't true, but instead was just the blood rushing to her head. It was uncomfortable, but not the worst thing about the experience. The worst part was the stupid headache that wouldn't seem to dull. Winnie used to get migraines a couple years ago, but this was nothing like that.

"Like I'm going to spontaneously combust." It was the truth...well, an exaggeration. Winnie tried to process where she was. She figured out that she was lying on a couch and had gotten a glimpse of some of the photos on the wall, although hadn't been able to actually register who they were of or what was happening in them. Winnie just knew they were pictures. Was this Cameron's house? If she could focus a little better at the moment, Winnie would have been very nervous about the idea. She barely knew him and she didn'y do relationships. Surely this would be a disaster.

Winnie moved the red stained papertowel away from her head, which made her a little light headed. She clutched it in her hand, refusing to look at it becauxe she didn't want to see the blood. This way, though, Cameron would actually be able to help her. She felt pathetic, as Winnie was never the one to be in distress. She was the type who gave first aid, not recieved it. Ridiculous. Winnie steadied her gaze on a certain point on the ceiling, resisting the urge to count sheep. Her color wasn't as bad now and her cheeks had gained some of their former rosiness. Just stay awake, Idiot! "Where are we?" She asked, voice soft as any higher volume was exhausting. The answer was obvious, but Winnie needed to hear it. Besides, talking would help her stay awake.

((Sorry I didn't see this until now. Also, I actually have next to no first aid training, so basically this whole part will just be bs. c: ))

"I don't think you are going to spontaneously combust." Cameron was able to manage a small smile, though his thoughts were far from spontaneous combustion. Mostly he was freaking out inside. Does he prop up her head? Does he give her medicine? Stopping the blood would be the best place to start, he decided ultimately. Gently he pried the paper towel from her hands and set it aside; it seemed to be having a negative affect on Winnie. His slim fingers tenderly brushed the strands of hair out of her face. Leaning over her a bit, he brought a fresh type of bandage to the source of the bleeding. It was a nasty wound, still gushing blood, he might add. Not too gently, he pressed a little harder to stop it.

Winnie looked so fragile. Though her hair was a sticky mess and her face looked like a mess of colors; she was still beautiful. It was strange. All he wanted to do was hold her closer, not push her away because of chaotic state Winnie was in. Cameron lifted her head slowly and slid on the couch, relaying it back down on his lap. This way it was upright a bit and the blood could drain to her feet. Right?

"I brought you to my house. I hope you don't mind, it was the fastest thing I could think of." Biting his bottom lip gently, he pulled away the bandage to see if it was helping. It was, to his relief. Reasserting pressure, he began to look through the other supplies. "I didn't pin you as a clumsy one." He teased lightly as he searched, making sure not to move too much and bump her head in his lap.

((Yeah, I know virtually nothing about head injuries. I'm running out of bs... :) ))

"Here, I can do it." Winnie had mumbled when Cameron was fixing the bandage on. She didn't make any attempt to, though, and the words didn't exactly come out right. Winnie was certified in first aid, though! She could freaking handle it! Winnie hated not being able to take care of herself, as normally she was the only one that did. Winnie was the type that helped everyone else, resulting in her having no one to turn to. They just expected her to have all the answers. "I wasn't aware you had a medical degree." Winnie said, mocking and sarcastic. Anyone could tell she was only teasing, though.

When she felt her head being lifted up slightly, she didn't know what it was at first. Maybe she wasn't moving at all and it was just all in her head, which wouldn't be surprising at the moment. She realized what was going on only after she was resting on Cameron's lap. That woke her up, alright. Winnie tensed slightly, as she didn't like to be close to people...certainly not guys. Cameron was so sweet, though...But all guys were the same, right? Well, at least love was always the same. More trouble than it was worth.

Seeing as the blood had stopped pouring out of the whole in her head, Winnie was starting to regain her color and her consciousness. The headache was still there, however, and practically unbearable. She just needed to talk to keep her mind off of it. "No, it's fine. Thank you, Cameron." She said, looking up at his face and taking slow, controlled breaths to get herself under control. "Hey, I'm not that clumsy. It was the stupid sink's fault..." As graceful as Winnie was on the dance floor, she did have her moments like this every now and then. Usually not this bad, though...

Cameron leaned back for a moment, waiting for her to 'do it'. When she made no attempt, he reached back forward and took up the job again. "I'm a man of many mysteries." Grinning a bit, he pulled the bandage away due to the lack of bleeding. It had finally stopped. Which had to be some kind of good sign. Feeling a bit proud of himself, he set the blood ridden thing aside and pulled out the pills behind him. They were for a headache, which she seemed to have due to her constant flinching.

What was he doing? It was strange that he would allow himself to bring a girl to his house, much less fix her up like that. Maybe she wasn't a stranger anymore. He knew who she was and dare he say it, they might even be friends now. This was definitely a bonding experience, he noted to himself. You don't get many opportunities to help someone bandage their head. As fun as this was, he hoped he didn't get many opportunities to bandage a head. It was a bit stressful to be honest.

"Of course, you might have to sue that sink." He spoke quietly, handing her the pills. Gently, he pushed her out of his lap so she could sit up straight and take them herself. "It looks better." He looked down at the tip of her head, which in fact, did look better."Your welcome, though I didn't really do anything." Modestly he added that as he stood up and grabbed the things covered in blood. It was best to get them out of that room.

Winnie was glad that he helped her to sit up, as she couldn't have done it by herself. She finally rose to a sitting position on the couch, though, two fingers rubbing her temple to try and ease the headache quicker. Winnie had gotten a huge head rush with that small motion, unfortunately. But, on the bright side, she no longer looked like a corpse. She looked almost back to normal already and after taking the pill, she hoped that the effects of her injury would be dulled soon enough. Way to go, Odile! "Yeah right. I probably look like The Corpse Bride right now..."

"You didn't faint, and that's something. My mom definitely wouldv'e." Winnie smirked slightly. She watched as Cameron left the room to disgard of the bloody items. "Thanks" She muttered for what seemed like the billionth time, but Winnie didn't believe she could say it enough even if he already was far enough away that he couldn't hear her. What had she gotten herself into?

Cameron wad incredibly sweet. And considerate. And adorable. Winnie found her heart melting more the longer she was around him. But, as soon as Winifred got moments like this to regain her thoughts, she froze it again. She couldn't let herself get hurt like Elle Robins had. Besides, she hadn't even dated anyone since Andrew Westfield back in Indiana. They had been friends first, so of course the relationship ended awkwardly and uncomfortably. Winnie just hadn't felt a spark. And then her dad was exposed as a lying, cheating, stupid - You get the picture. Love wasn't real. Maybe she had just lost a little too much blood...

Cameron returned soon after, hesitantly walking in the room. He still was unsure of the whole, bring her to his house thing. Well, it was too late now. With a deep breath, he approached her again and sat down on the couch nearby. At her comment, his eyes widened. "No, you are starting to look more like a zombie bride now." He grinned, leaning back where he sat. The truth was, he had been surprised by her statement. She looked nothing like a corspe bride. It was almost as if the whole experience had only added to her appearance. Which he wasn't going to say, because the last time he checked, caked blood didn't add to anyone's appearance.

Wiping his medium sized hands on his thighs, he glanced over at her to make sure she was still doing alright. The color was returning and she did look more alive, luckily. "You don't have to thank me anymore." He announced, his eyes kind and clear. It made him feel as if he did something every time she thanked him. Which he didn't.

Cameron couldn't help but shake away a guilty feeling. If he hadn't taken her there, she would not have hit her head. Maybe that was a sign this was all a bad idea? Maybe he should tell her he had things to do and end it now? He almost laughed at that thought. There was no way he could just say goodbye now. He'd probably always wonder what could of happened and -. He stopped himself there. Nothing was going to happen. They were just friends.

After letting out a small laugh at Cameron's comment, Winnie winced. The chuckle had cause a rush of discomofrt. It wasn't as painful as before, though. She couldn't help but study Cameron as he came back into the room and sat next to her once more, trying to figure him out. Winnie knew there had to be something wrong with him. There had to be! She couldn't just believe he was as perfect as he seemed to be. These thoughts, however, were fading every time she looked at Cameron. He continued to surprise her.

Why did she have to be so clumsy and get herself hurt? The whole ordeal could have just ended at the Pizzeria. They could have just parted ways, still strangers, and never meet again. It culd have been totally innocent. Instead, Winnie had to injure herself and be exposed to something great that she didn't want to feel.

Winnie's eyes suddenly turned more serious, an incredulous look passing her features. "Okay, what's your deal, Cameron?" She demanded, feeling as if she couldn't take it anymore. "Everyone has some deal. You can't possibly just ask a girl out and then take her to your house, not expecting anything in return. Do you have to go be some freaking Prince Charming? It's infuriating!" Winnie then let out a laugh, making the little rant look good natured, as if she was teasing. She really wanted an answer, though.

Cameron's eyes widen and he was speechless for a second. Did she really think of him that.. highly? It was probably the first and last time anyone would call him Prince Charming. Well she didn't directly call him that, but she was hinting at that? Right? He tried to gather his thoughts which were exploding at that minute, without much luck. Infuriating. That usually wasn't used to describe someone happy. He couldn't help but feel guilty, but what for? He hadn't really done anything. But bring her to his house and invited her to eat with him.

Gulping silently he turned to look at her, the surprise still evident in his face. "Sometimes I hide my brother's socks so he can't make pairs, which drives him crazy.." He trailed off slowly, unsure of how to answer that. He had many 'deals', where should he start? The bad habit of licking his fingers after eating ice cream, or how he was terrified of rats. The list was endless. What he didn't know was where her flaws were. She seemed so gentle and exquisite that he didn't know how to handle himself around her, but yet on the other side he felt completely comfortable around her.

"You know what is really infuriating? How you can be bleeding from your head and still look like an angel, when everyone else would just look dead. Or when you talk about your family and your eyes light up and it's the most adorable thing I have ever seen. Explain those, because I don't understand that either." Cameron gushed out the words before he realized what he was doing. Crap. He wasn't embarrassed, just more self conscience. His fingers tapped silently against his thigh and he added an awkward laugh a few seconds after he finished.

Smiling at his sock comment, Winnie shook her head. Certainly know one could be so...so good! Cameron had to have done worse things in his life, right? Winifred doubted that. He probably doesn't even do the sock prank. Probably just trying to make me feel better... The thought frustrated her a bit, because Winnie needed to find some flaw in his character, one that wasn't completely adorable. She sighed, looking down at the ground. This was probably what happened to her mom. Elle Robins must have been completely charmed by her own Prince. Everything went well for awhile, and then Winnie's mom had her heart broken and Winnie got to watch the breaking process. "You don't get it." She mumbled, more to herself.

And then Winnie froze in place, put in her own momentary shock due to Cameron's words. An angel...Adorable... She looked over at him, just staring at him for a second because she had kind of forgotten how to form words. A strange mix of emotion surged through her. Yes, Cameron did seem to make her heart melt a bit. But that didn't change how scared and unsure Winnie felt. What is happening to me...? She had been so certain of so many things this morning, and now a complete stranger was making her question everything she thought about life.

Stupid. "Cameron...I...I'm sorry." She had to stand then, althouh it was quite dizzying. Winnie had the feeling she would have been dizzy even if it wasn't for the head injury, and she couldn't tell which was the cause now. She was turned away from him, staring at a picture on the wall, though not really paying attention to it. Winnie crossed her arms, looking closed off and sad. "I'm so, so sorry.... Please...don't do this to me, Cameron." She said softly, finding that her breathing was a little off. "Trust me, I'm not nearly as great as you think." She rolled her eyes, bitter at the thought. Why did he have to be so sincere sounding.

Cameron stood up slowly, walking hesitantly towards her. She looked as if she might fall at any second and he couldn't let her hit her head again. Now that would not be good. Can you imagine how terrible would be? It might even be fatal if she lost more blood. No, he could not let her fall. He approached her side and turned slightly, unsure of what she mean't by, "you don't get it."

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that." Cameron began to speak, confused by her sudden outburst. Confused by why he had even spit out his own outburst. It was like Winnie opened up a whole other side to him and somehow he didn't want that side to disappear. No, he would not let that side disappear. "What am I doing? I'll stop." Innocently, he tugged at the bottom of his sleeve, eyebrows knit together in concentration. Should he stop talking to her? Could he stop talking to her? At this point he didn't know. He didn't want to know either.

This was a different Winnie. The Winnie he had met only a few hours previously, would not have said that. She would not have rolled her eyes in that manner either. Maybe he didn't know this girl. But something told him that she was as great as he thought. "I don't care." He finally managed to say something, his voice coming out quieter than normal. As if she wouldn't understand what he meant, he continued before she could respond. "It doesn't matter to me how great you are or if you have secrets from your past. None of it bothers me." Cameron only wanted her to know that, as a person, none of her faults bothered him. She should know that she was great, even if he wasn't trying to make their relationship more. Which, he definitely was not trying to do.
