message 5: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (thebtwjournals) I love castle! I was so surprised at how similar it felt to read the book as it was to watch an episode! loved it!

Grace: Did you read the Infernal Devices series too?? I want to read those as well after I finish Lost Souls but I've heard mixed reviews about them.

message 14: by samyam (new)

message 18: by Meghan (new)

Meghan (meghancitylibrary) | 53 comments Samyam: did you read all three and enjoy them?

Grace: I've heard that people really love Mortal Instruments and not Infernal Devices or they love Infernal Devices and not Mortal Instruments so I think it's interesting that you said that! :D Did you read the Magnus Bane e-novels? I heard shes going to put them all in one published book once she's done with them :D

I actually just discovered the bane books today! I'm definitely getting the ebook today, I always loved Magnus :) & yeah since Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices are so similar, I guess it just comes down to which characters and settings you prefer. In my opinion Jace and Clary are much stronger characters than Will and Tessa, though.

message 24: by samyam (new)

samyam g | 74 comments and once u get adjusted with mortal instruments its hard to get adjusted to infernal devices.mortal instrument is like infernal devices with different characters and settings.

Cody Connolly (codyrayspeaks) It's hard to pick 1 single book as my favorite, soooo I have decided to narrow it to 5. I don't typically retread books, and these are books that I have read numerous times so they are inevitably my favorite.

In no particular order they are:

The Vast Fields of Ordinary by Nick Burd The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold If I Stay (If I Stay, #1) by Gayle Forman Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher Chasing Brooklyn by Lisa Schroeder
