Olivia is pretty awesome but HOW can she want to be with Jackson - he is the worlds biggest jerk.

That's a bit harsh, I mean I know he keeps ignoring Olivia then turning up at the last minute and she suddenly think he's wonderful again - which is a bit annoying, but he's got a good heart and is nice.

Ok, I seriously need help. In Tail Spin (MBTW #4) they mention Olivia and Jackson and they have one of those name mash-up thingys for them as a couple. I can't remember what it is but I need to know for a poll I'm making for this group! Please does anyone know it? Thanks :)

I know this wasn't the one they had in the series, but I just went with Jackvia for Olivia and Jackson. The poll has been created so you can vote on it now!

Okay, I bought the Tail Spin book yesterday (got it from the library before) and looked up what the couple name for Jackson and Olivia is. Turns out it was Jando. As in J (for Jackson) and O (for Olivia). Is this the lamest name ever, or is it the lamest name ever. I think it's the lamest name ever.

Alright maybe not the lamest ever, but I prefer Jackvia :)

This is sort of random but I've spotted a mistake. In Star Style (MSTV #8), Jessica describes Olivia as having brown hair and green eyes. Yet in earlier books Olivia is said to have blue eyes. I remember because Prince Alex said she had "blue eyes like a sparkling summer lake". At first I thought it was just Jessica getting it wrong on purpose but then later on someone else said she had green eyes.

Yo guys! Soph and I were thinking we'd try a new thing on the character discussions in this group. Basically, we try and fill in profiles for each character outlining their personality. This is just for fun but I think it'll be really cool to dig deeper into what defines these characters. This is kind of what I was thinking:

We can work together to fill in the information by copying and pasting the list and adding a new answers when we think of them or find them in one of the books. Feel free to add more categories as well - these are just examples to get us started. Hopefully it'll be fun for us to test our obscure knowledge of Sienna Mercer's characters, and if we can't find any answers in the books we can just come up with what we think works for each character.

This is a great idea Daisy! I'm really looking forward to doing it for a lot of the characters. What I think we should do though is have the list in the first comment so it's at the top of the page. Any one can comment the information and whoever started the thread (you or me) can edit our comment to add it in. What do you think?

For Olivia I'm pretty sure her favourite colour is pink. I'd say her best friend is Camilla and her hobbies include cheerleading and acting. Do you agree?

Yep, those all sound good. Just realised how many of these I remember from the books... things are about to get really nerdy around here, lol. Obviously her favourite books are the Count Vira books and her favourite celebrity is Jackson Caulfield. Then I remember her saying tofu was her favourite food, and in Take Two (MSTV #5) she told Charles her favourite movie was The Right One (one of Jackson's movies) and her favourite school subject was art. She also said in that scene that she loves the song Double Trouble.

I'm thinking her worst enemy would be Jessica Phelps, who was in Star Style (MSTV #8). Also another of her hobbies could be party-planning, since she did that in Twin Spins (MSTV #9) and seemed to enjoy it. Should that not really count though because she only did it once?

Wow you've got some good ones there. I don't remember her saying her favourite food was tofu but I can imagine that. Agreed about favourite author and favourite celebrity. That favourite movie fact is a good trivia, I didn't know that! Jessica is totally her worst enemy! Hmm I'm not sure about party-planning as a hobby because, like you said, she hasn't done it much.

What do you think she's most likely to be found doing? Cheerleading, hanging out with friends, acting?? I'm not sure.

Sure, those things sound like stuff she'd be found doing. Maybe rehearsing her lines too - she seems to spend a lot more time doing that than actually acting! Reading magazines could be another thing - I reckon her having a magazine on her bed has been mentioned a few times. The maybe Skyping Ivy? They do that a lot if one of them is away.

I've added the three new categories that I suggested in the Ivy thread to Olivia's profile - what d'you guys think for the answers?

Also I was thinking, since the Hobbies and Most Likely to be Found Doing categories are really similar, we could interpret Most Likely to be Found Doing as more actions than hobbies. For example Ivy's could be shooting a death stare, and Olivia's might be doing a cheerleader double-clap.

That is a great idea, I love Ivy's death squint! Hmm catchphrase is a hard one. I want to re-read the books and look out for trivia like this because I'm struggling to remember it off the top of my head.

OK, I'll add those to the profiles! :) Yeah, that'll be a fun to do when re-reading the books.

In the Switched thread (message 35) we have been discussing what cheerleading competitions Olivia has participated in. I found this quote in Date with Destiny (MSTV #10). On page 125...

Olivia may not have had any vamp powers, but she had competed in the state cheer-leading competition three times, and that meant she had a few special skills of her own.

This is so awesome! I wonder how old she was and how she did. I'm not sure if state is the same level as national or not? I'm guessing not so this quote doesn't really answer our discussion of whether Olivia has performed in the cheerleading nationals or not. It's still awesome either way.

Wow, that's really cool. It also means she's been cheerleading for years (I'm assuming the state competition is annual). I imagine if you win the state competition you qualify for nationals, and if she's competed three times, there's every likelihood she won at some point! It's definitely looking more likely now that she competed at nationals.

Again this makes me sad that cheerleading was sort of dropped after the first few books in the series. It seems to have been a big part of Olivia's life for many years and I think there's more Sienna Mercer could have done with it.
