I'm a poet/translator and I wanted to invite you to visit my website that's dedicated to the work of Anna Akhmatova (www.annaakhmatova.com). There you can read/download quite lot of her work that I've translated into English. What makes my translations different from others you may have seen is that I try to preserve the music, rhythm and rhyme of the original poems, which many translators seem to neglect. I've also self-published books with my translations, including 3 with the work of Anna Akhmatova, Marina Tsvetaeva, Vladimir Mayakovsky, Alexander Pushkin, among others. Hi Andrey, I came across your translations on the web by accident, some years ago, and I loved them so much I ordered your book, "The Wondrous Moment". Your translations from Pushkin are fantastic, and so true to the original. I enjoyed them so much. I did not realize you had other books, I am going to get them, too. Thanks!

Hi Ivan, Thank you for your feedback. I'm really glad you enjoyed my work. I'm always amazed that what I do is meaningful to other people. I started translating simply because I enjoyed the process. I never thought that I would one day have an audience.

If you can find the time, I would really appreciate a review on a amazon to inform other potential readers. As a small indie author, it's hard to attract much attention, so it would be helpful.
