Theresa Ramseyer | 2 comments I'm wondering. I bought Autumn, and get at least the next two from the library. I've read Autumn and the next one - sorry, in a hurry and I've gone blank on the title. I would like to join/create a reading from the top :).

Won't be a speed reading, since I am reading a couple of other series with folks, but maybe at least a chapter every other week? I can try a chapter a week, but I can't promise it. Or maybe two chapters at a time?

Dragonlance is the basis for so much music and other series, I hate to have not read at least most of it. It's more fun to read with a buddy or a group,I think. Helps keep you on track.

What do you think?
Theresa

Kenneth Moore | 6 comments I actual just decided to retread the series. I have not read it in at least 15 years. There have been so many books since it have stopped, I know that I need to refresh my memory. I am reading book one now. Let me know how you are reading the series.

Kat | 2 comments I've reread this series multiple times but it's been awhile since my last reread. I do have every book in the series which is close to 200, so if anyone wants titles and/or reading order beyond the first 3 books, let me know! :)

Kenneth Moore | 6 comments Yes I would love to have a list of your books and a reading order. I did not realize there were 200 books in the series! I may have only read 20. What a joy to know that there is more to the Dragonlance universe that I could have ever imagined!

Miranda Wood | 11 comments I am never getting rid of my set! It took me a long time to collect and read them all (not to mention a small fortune!!) A re-read is definitely in order!

Kenneth if you or any of you have questions about Dragonlance this site is AMAZING. Several of the authors post to this site and there is a detailed product list and a chronological list as well as a recommended order to read the books in. Hope it helps I know traversing this world can get confusing since there are now over 150 books in the series.

I know it has been a number of years since this conversation was started but I am getting ready to reread Dragonlance and my intention is to try and real ALL of the books. This is going to take some time because it's not exactly a small series. Is anyone else out there still interested in reading these books together? I am going to be starting with Dragons of Autumn Twilight and going from there.

Kenneth Moore | 6 comments When do you want to start? I have most on ebook and a few on Audible. Do you want to start in the New year? Dec. 1st? Should we try and read a book a month? Every two months? Should we create a Facebook page to discuss as we read? I actually started Autumn again. My son likes Fantasy, but I can't get him into this series. Let do it!! We just need an administrator and it should be you!!

I agree! The Dark Disciples is my first favorite from the Dragonlance Chronicles, the The War of Souls, then the The Chronicles, lastly The Lost Chronicles.

Todd R (wilderquill) I began reading them in chronological order not too long ago - short stories, novels...haven't gotten to far.

I at one point had collected 90+ Dragonlance Novels and anthologies - gave them all to the used bookstore. Frankly some are good and some are rotten...I found it wasn't worth having horrible books taking up a lot of shelf space.

Marc Tennier | 1 comments I usually read parts of the series every year or so. Last year it was Legends. This year I'm thinking Preludes. Too good not to read every year!

Actually, the chronicles changed my direction of reading forever. I do owe that series a lot. Many good days reading. Put me on the path for fantasy novels

John Girvan | 1 comments I've just finishing reading chronicles again, this series changed how I looked at books as a humble thirteen year old. So far 35 years of adventure and returning to the series I call home

message 21: by Todd (new)

Todd R (wilderquill) I agree there are some real gems in the Dragonlance omnibus...all of the Weis/Hickmans are high on the list of course, Douglas Niles is another author I enjoy for a good straight forward read.

I reread the series only about two years later and I viewed it so much differently. I suppose it's the same with so many books.
