Does anybody watch Torchwood? What is it like? I might want to watch it, so I want to know how good it is. Is it as exciting as Doctor Who?

I have watched it I like it, not everyone does. It is definitely more "adult" than Doctor Who and can be just as violent if not more. The excitement varies, there are some episodes that drip with it while others can't find excitement even if it was hand-delivered to them by a Dalek. It is NOT Doctor Who. Even though it began in the Whouniverse it often seems to be in a different galaxy. They purposely keep the shows separate even though Torchwood often has Doctor Who references or more so subtle nods to Doctor Who.
If you are a Captain Jack Harkness fan (or a fangirl/boy of John Barrowman) then you will love it.
I watched the first episode, then decided to wait until I was older to watch it, as I'm 14, 15 in May. There was a good amount of cussing in it, and the preview for the next one was REALLY interesting, not in a good way.
